Boasting one of the largest ovens on the market, Zanussi have upped the game with this Avanti cooker. The main cavity gives you 74 litres of space to play with and uses Therma-flow ventilation which means you get an even heat from top to bottom. And with the thinner walls, no extra space is taken up on the outside.
For extra cooking space, the second conventional oven will come in handy. It has a 37 litre cavity and can be used as a grill, so you can do anything from grilling a few Sunday morning sausages, to browning a large joint of meat.
The ceramic hob on top is easy to clean, with a glass surface that just needs wiped down with a damp cloth. Both oven have enamel interiors, which also makes cleaning easier as the finish is grease and dirt resistant.

Sleek and simple, the Cannon Kendal CH60EKKS Freestanding Electric Cooker has a ceramic hob with four zones and 2 ovens. The hob is completely flat so it will be easy to clean. It also has a residual heat light warning when each zone is on. This is great if you sometimes forget to turn your oven off!
The main fan oven gives you 65 litres of space which is split over 2 adjustable shelves. It also has stay clean catalytic liners, which are a big help when the cheese on your pizza bubbles over! The top grill is 35 litres and can also act as a conventional oven if you just want to pop in one item. The grill is really quick, it will be ready to use in around 15 seconds! As you’d expect, a grill pan is also included so you can get the bacon on straight away! This appliance is rated B for energy so it will cost you about 17p for every hour you use it, which is far cheaper than any chippy tea! The unit is nice and simple to use although you will need to get an electrician to hard wire the oven in.
Made right here in the UK, this Belling is a great example of top quality. It's an incredible price when you think that it comes with an induction hob. This is the most efficient type of hob you can get. It works using magnetic fields to heat the pan itself rather than the hob, making it loads quicker and much more efficient too.
With a total of 108 litres it’s certainly big enough to cook dinner and sides for 4 or 5 people and you get fan and conventional heat. It means you can choose which heating elements you use, depending on your dish. Fan cooking gives even cooking which is great for roast chicken, while conventional is best for pies and pasta bakes as it gives you beautiful golden brown tops.
If you’ve left dinner in the freezer, this Belling has a dedicated defrost function. It uses room temperature air to thaw out your frozen foods in a third of the time – it’s much more hygienic than leaving it on the worktop too. Don’t overlook the A/A efficiency rating either, so you can cook away with worrying about the cost.
This stylish looking oven has loads of great features. You’re getting a Fan and a Conventional oven, which have a B/B rating. This gives you a whopping 100 litres of capacity. That’s 35 litres in the top grill oven and 65 below in the main Fan oven – that’s enough space to feed a small army!
Extremely useful if you’re in a rush and need to whip up a quick cheese on toast, Hotpoint has fitted a fantastic grill in this model. It’s great for smaller portions, as you won't have to use the full oven just to heat your one item. If you find yourself with a little more time to spare, you’ve got a Slow Cook Function which is ideal for stews and casseroles. It uses low temperatures to keep your dish tasty and tender – it’ll even cook while you’re out at work so you can come home to a freshly cooked meal.
You’re getting Stay Clean catalytic liners too, which makes cleaning this oven easy. There's no more elbow grease as the Hotpoint does the hard work for you.

This Newworld cooker gives you everything you need to make your tea! Up on the hob, you’ve got 4 electric solid plates, coming in 2 different sizes. This makes it perfect for warming up a pot of soup or boiling a big pan of potatoes for the Sunday mash. And with 6 different power levels to change through, you’ve got plenty of control over the heat you’re cooking on.
There’s a decent amount of cooking space down in the oven as well, with a total of 47 litres to use. That’s more than enough for a family casserole or large pizza. You’ve got 4 different settings to go for as well, with top and bottom heat, conventional cooking and a grill to put to good use. It’s full-width and you also get a grill tray and wire rack to place your rashers of bacon or sizzling sausages on. With an energy efficiency rating of A, you’re not getting let down there, either.
