What size cooker do I need?
Cookers come in either 50,55 or 60cm versions. In general, the wider the cooker is the greater the cooking capacity you'll be getting inside. Regardless of size, almost all cookers come with 4 hob zones or burners. For a big family, we recommend a 60cm model, whereas for someone living alone, a 50cm cooker would be fine.
Can any cooker be converted to LPG?
Not all. Electric cookers can't be converted to LPG for example. As electric cookers don't have a gas connection, they're not suitable for conversion. However, certain dual fuel and gas models are. It's always best to check the specification if you're unsure.
Can I get an electric cooker with a gas hob?
You certainly can. All dual fuel cookers come with electric ovens and gas hobs. Using electric for cooking in the oven means that certain models offer fan cooking, too. And as the hob is gas powered, you get really quick responsiveness when adjusting the amount of heat.
Which cookers need integrating?
No cooker needs to be integrated whether it's gas, electric or dual fuel. A few people get cookers mixed up with ovens which all need to be built in. Cookers on the other hand come with hobs on top and they simply slot into place between your cupboards or other kitchen appliances.
