The British MotoGP Weekend
Silverstone, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom

The British MotoGP weekend at Silverstone celebrates the 40th anniversary of British star Barry Sheene becoming champion for the first time, and organisers will be hoping for an even bigger crowd than the 100,000-plus who attended last year. There’s a rich contingent of British stars in the form of Cal Crutchlow, Bradley Smith and Scott Redding, but their chances will be tempered somewhat by the formidable quartet of Jorge Lorenzo, Marc Marquez, Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa. The bikes approach or even exceed speeds of 350km/hour during races in this glamorous race calendar, which also includes rides in Spain, Japan and Australia.

The alternative...

Create your own British MotoGP Party!

The weather can be horrendous, there are too many people, and the bikes will be flying past with no explanation of what’s going on from the learned commentators. Better to take your own seat, on your armchair, and watch the world class action in fantastic HD.
