Enjoy delicious meals without being tied to the kitchen. The 460004 Sear and Stew slow cooker from Morphy Richards lets you get on with your day while the slow cooker does all the hard work. The generous 3.5 litre capacity is large enough to prepare a meal for the whole family. It’s got 3 heat settings for low, medium and high to suit different cooking times and recipes too. The lid is made from toughened glass so you can keep an eye on your cooking without letting any heat escape. One of the best parts is you can remove the ceramic pot and use it as a serving dish so there’s no loss of temperature from transfer.
This is our second attempt at a slow cooker. Our first was a basic Breville model that always burned food, dried out the meals, spat water out around the sides of the lid and was a pain to clean.
This Morphy Richards is poles apart. We specifically picked it for the timer and keep warm feature. It's a breeze to clean as it can go in the dishwasher, and the ability to put the pot on the hob to brown off the meat at the start, or to thicken up the sauce at the end is a great feature.
Meals retain their liquid and stay moist, we've never had a problem with anything burning to the sides, and we can put it on low at 8:30 and thanks to the keep warm feature it's ready to eat when we get home at 18:30
I would definitely recommend this slow cooker.

Very good but...
I am very pleased with this product. However the inner bowl is easily scratched, Take car not to use metallic utensils which will easily scratch the non-stick surface.

Excellence on a plate!
This is the second of these I have had - the first developed a fault with the digital setting. I did not hesitate to replace with the same model (and now have handy spares re the container and lid!) as we have enjoyed so many lovely meals through using it and have found the digital capability with its automatic 2 hour keep warm facility extremely handy. The sear & stew capability is excellent. A good idea to ensure you only use non-metal implements so as not to damage the non-stick coating. Have also been using Heather Whinney's Slow Cook Book published by DK for dozens of good recipes of all kinds - worth getting to go with it!
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet, Value for money

One Feature Short
Good points include: a lightweight inner rather than a heavy ceramic one; Auto Keep Warm and also manual settable.
Missing though is the feature we have on our small Lakeland Slow Cooker - the Auto feature that on Low automatically gives 1 hour on High to get the contents up to temperature.
Pros: Good build quality, Looks good, Value for money
