Stand Installation, Disposal
Stand Installation £ 44.99
We want you to enjoy your new TV as soon as possible. Rather than messing about with cables and following loads of steps in the instruction manual, let us set it up for you. We'll attach the new TV to the stand that it comes with. If you've bought an additional TV stand, there's a separate installation charge. We'll also tune it in, set up any Smart features and connect up all your existing kit. We’ll even take away the bulky packaging.
Disposal £ 14.99
We’ll happily take away your old TV for you and recycle it. All we ask is that it’s unplugged and ready to go. The fee for this service relates to the cost of taking your old TV away on our van rather than the recycling service. If you've paid for installation, we will recycle your old TV free of charge.

Equipped with Certified 4K Ultra HD technology, this 49” TV from LG delivers a world of entertainment, in stunning clarity. Using 4 times more pixels than Full HD, 4K provides the most detailed picture on the market. And, thanks to innovative SUPER HDR with Dolby Vision, this model also produces incredible contrast and lifelike colour – so you’ll get swept away into the drama onscreen for a real cinematic experience. Featuring Freeview HD and Freesat HD, you get instant access to over 200 great channels. And it’s Smart too, which means you can use the Web OS to catch up on your favourite shows.
To achieve the Certified Ultra HD 4K stamp of approval, a TV needs to have true 4K resolution that uses four times more pixels than Full HD, as well as vivid 8 bit colour depth. By choosing this model, you can rest assured that you’ll experience the very best that UHD 4K has to offer. As the number of channels broadcasting in 4K continues to grow, your TV will be ready – so you can enjoy new content the way it was meant to be seen. You’ll also benefit from 4K upscaling to make more of HD channels and your Blu-ray collection.
SUPER HDR and Dolby Vision
This model has SUPER HDR technology with Dolby Vision which ramps up the 4K properties of your TV. High Dynamic Range technology adds breath-taking contrast, giving stunning depth to your picture. These technologies combined create an outstanding cinematic experience for even more memorable movie nights and amazing match days.
Freeview and Freesat
This clever TV has both Freesat and Freeview built-in. These are subscription-free services that give you access to popular TV channels without the need for a separate set top box. If you already have a satellite dish, you’ll have access to the 200 amazing channels available on Freesat, plus up to 60 channels on Freeview through your aerial. It’s easy to switch between the two with the easy-to-use menu. If you don’t have a satellite dish, no problem – because you’ll still have access to the Freeview channels.
LG Smart WebOS
This TV makes being smart attractive with WebOS. The swish interface lets you flip between watching TV, streaming films on Netflix and grabbing content from external devices like a Blu-ray player. There’s a dual core processor – like the one in your laptop – which allows you to flip through apps whilst watching the news. Clever! LG’s Smart Share lets you bob content from your smartphone or laptop onto the big telly using your home’s Wi-Fi. If you’ve got an Android smartphone, you can also use screen mirroring to show off exactly what’s on your phone on the big screen!
Freeview Play services
Subject to coverage. Aerial upgrade may be required. Min 2mbps broadband required. 7 day catch up for selected channels. Extra costs may apply for 3rd party services shown. Services are subject to availability and could vary across products and platforms.

This TV does not disappoint. Excellent crisp picture, and bright vivid colours. It up-scales 720 and 1080 sources very well.
The built in WEB-OS system is charming, and very easy to use.
The only down side is the local dimming can cause vertical banding, but this is a non issue as it can be turned off.
Pros: Ease to use, Looks good, Value for money

Review of 46" LG Smart TV
Very impressed with all aspects of the LG TV. The instructions consist of step-by-step diagrams which were easy to follow. I found it fairly simple to assemble on to the stand by myself, and as person who knows very little about TV set-up, I found the set-up itself very straightforward by following the simple on-screen prompts.
The TV itself has an energy rating ‘A’ which is great, there is also the option to adjust the screen brightness in the settings to reduce the energy consumption further.
The picture quality of this TV is amazing, and aesthetically it looks great on the crescent stand.
I was very impressed by the ‘magic remote’, often TV remotes can feel cheap and lightweight. The remote for the LG has a good weight but is not too big, the great shape makes it easy to hold, and the controls aren’t too complex. The remote itself uses radio frequency as opposed to the usual infra-red light. Which means that it will operate within 10 meters of the TV and does not require it to be pointed at the TV. Meaning that you can operate the TV from any room in the house.
When you shake the control and point it at the TV, a curser appears, this makes it easier for you to navigate around the TV. I personally think that this is brilliant (and so do the kids), but if you want to revert back to the standard remote you can do so by pressing the buttons.
There is also the option to use voice recognition which is useful, so if you hold down the voice recognition button on the remote and speak when the voice display window appears on the screen, you can search for content such as programmes, movies, videos or even perform a web search.
Another great feature for me, is the option to control my sky box through the same remote by adding the set-top box to universal remote for the TV. So no need to keep switching between HDMI cables anymore, as there is a designated button on the remote to activate the sky box.
The only thing that I did note initially, was that given that this was the first time that I had used a smart TV, it would have been helpful if there had been a manual included which covered the operation of the WebOS 3.0 technology, demonstrating the different apps and features and how to operate. But in all honestly, upon exploring these apps and technology, it was apparent that it was very user friendly and self-explanatory.

Top telly ...
I do not write reviews because I'm rarely impresed... HOWEVER, (and I have not been paid or offered a FREE PRODUCT), this telly has really hit the mark! !00%!
Picture quality and the internal Freeview HD quality is excellent (once you work out how to set the relevant settings) and set the telly to better picture quality, sound is excellent ... I have an optical output to a bass unit and it compliments the TV speaker system really very well. Not only that but my iPhone app 'LG TV Plus' worked immediately and without fail. I'm giving this telly 5 across the board .. was way better than I expected... well done LG, keep up the good work and the tech
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet, Value for money
