Whirlpool ADG8410FD Built In Standard Dishwasher - Black

We love it. It’s in our Top 5! The ADG8410FD has an A++ energy rating and it comes with features that’ll save you electricity. This includes multi-zone, which lets you wash a single rack instead of both racks if you have a light load. It also comes with 6th sense technology. By using sensors to detect your wash load, it’ll save you up to 50% in time, energy and water. On top of all this it has 13 place settings, a super quiet overnight programme and 24 hour delay timer.

Product Reviews

"Very good but"

Pros: Value for money, Good build quality, Quiet

Cons: racks not adjustable

"Excellent product, excellent value for money and the quietest Dishwasher we have ever heard. However the one big drawback is that we have fairly standard size Denby dinner plates and they cannot be placed upright in the plate racks as you would expect as both the lower and upper areas are of insufficient height to accommodate the plates. We have either to lay the plates at an angle against other items to be washed, which then significantly reduces the capacity of the dishwasher or the plates have to placed to the side edges of the unit which means you can only clean four plates and this puts the plates at risk of damage when pushing the rack in or pulling it out."

"Whirlpool ADG8410FD"

Pros: Value for money, Good build quality, Quiet

Cons: Complicated, buttons difficult to press, installation and instructions for use too vague

"Before ordering this dishwasher, I telephoned Philips (Whirlpool) to confirm a number of things - was it a perfect replacement for the 11 year old machine which had just broken down, would it fit in the fully integrated space in my kitchen etc. and was the guarantee Europe-wide as I was transporting it to France, where I live. This was the model recommended as the perfect replacement.

Having taken delivery of it and transported it to our French home and tried to fit it I found that It does fit into the space available except that the depth is marginally greater and I have to re-make the electrical socket behind the appliance to 'hard wire' it, as a plug will not now fit to allow the machine to enter fully.

Also, the fittings for the fascia panel are different which has meant removing the old fittings and re-drilling the door front to fit it.

The operations of the buttons is complicated by comparison with the old machine. They are very stiff to press and give no real audible 'click' to indicate they have worked.

The scant 2 page "quick guide' for operating the machine is woefully vague and difficult to follow and the installation instructions equally so.

On the operational side, the first time we used it we found that our Denby dinner plates, which are a standard size and fitted into our old machine, now foul the upper spray arm. Otherwise the performance is good."

"Million times better than a Beko"

Pros: Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good, excellent cleaning, outstanding shine on glasses, power wash

"We purchased this appliance to replace a two year old Beko that developed an electrical fault and caught fire, thankfully whilst we were home.

Overall it is excellent. The cleaning function is outstanding.

The power wash is excellent and made light work of a dried on egg dish.

The only comments would be that the intensive program is 2h55m long!

It was a little bit more expensive than some of the bottom of the range products but already that initial outlay is paying off

We love it."

"Great Value"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good, short cycle option and energy dfficient

"Dishwasher very quiet and efficient - some programmes a bit long but even short programme is sufficient for normally soiled dishes and pans - only 47 mins. Drys well too. Service from Ao appliances very efficient - informed of order progress and delivery day and time from start to finish. Nice to deal with a Uk call centre too. Would definitely use again"

"My first time..."

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, built-in but still looks good

Cons: no real instruction on how to load for best result

"after nearly 40 years of marriage - this is my first dishwasher! Why so big? We have several family gatherings throughout the year and the half load function will be ideal for just himself and me.

As I have also had a new kitchen everything has been put through the DW before going into the cupboards. Wonderful shiny crockery, sparkling glasses, gleaming cutlery. Just what I need for my old age..."

Thanks to its 6th Sense Technology, the ADG8410FD can monitor the time, energy and water used for every load, adapting automatically so you never use more than you need. It's earned an A++ energy efficiency rating as well, so it will help save you money on your utility bills.

With 13 place settings it’s roomy enough to cope with the demands of a big family, and has been built with programmes to make it as adaptable as possible. A super quiet overnight programme makes sure you don’t disturb anyone if you’re running a cycle after dark, letting you take advantage of lower electricity rates. If you’ve got a smaller load to put through, the multi-zone feature allows you to wash just one rack so there is no wastage.

With pre-rinse to help deal with stubborn, baked on foodstuffs and a quick wash programme when you’re in a hurry it really does have everything you could need. The 24 hour delay timer lets you put through any programme when it’s best for you too.
