At 44.5cm wide this is a really slim dishwasher so it’s perfect if you have a small kitchen. There’s plenty of space inside to wash the pots for a two or three person household thanks to the 9 place settings. It’s only makes 52dB of noise which won’t disturb you when you’re watching the TV.
Although it’s slim, the ADP451/IX can take care of all types of pots and pans thanks to its 6 wash programmes. The first is Intensive, which is designed for tackling dishes with burnt on food, or heavy stains like casserole dishes. On the flip side, there’s a Delicate cycle which gently washes glasses, crystal and fine china to make sure they don’t crack or get damaged.
For your every day washing there’s a Daily cycle which will get through your daily load of plates and cutlery. When you’re short on time the Express wash will clean lightly soiled loads and only takes 28 minutes. Great if you just want to give a last tidy up before you have people round.
If you want to make your wash really efficient and save pennies on the water bill there’s the Eco cycle. It runs for longer but uses less energy while still getting your pots perfectly clean. You could also use the 9 hour Start Delay to take advantage of low electricity rates at night to save even more money. It lets you set what time you want the dishwasher to come on without being there.
To make your washing more convenient there is salt and rinse aid indicators which tell you when they need to be filled up. The rinse aid prevents water marks appearing on your glasses and cutlery while the salt prevents lime scale interfering with the effectiveness of your detergent. Without checking you’ll know exactly when to fill them up to keep the dishwasher running effectively.
