"size does matter"

Pros: Quiet, Easy to use, Good build quality, Value for money, no problems so far

"Fitted in as a replacement for defunked phillips however the actual space inside is much less. All the freezer drawers have a slopping bottom at the back which prevent you from storing anything flat. Having said this as a lone user I will manage but would not recoomend for a family although the fridge/freezer is working beautifully so if you dont want much space this is fine."

"Good enough"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

"Pro.: The freezer is amazing; the first drawer offers a fast cooling system that freezes the food/drink really quick.

Con.: The fridge forms ice on the back and this can be annoying because the ice can get accidently on the top of the food or whatsoever you have inside your fridge. This is a small fridge/freezer and it may not be suitable for a family, but it is good enough for a single or a couple.

Overall it is a good fridge/freezer."

"Freezer drawer size limited"

"I read a review which suggested that the capacity of the freezer drawers was limited due to the design. This is true and freezer storage would not be great if you wanted to freeze a lot or freeze large items."

"beko BC50"

"A reasonable appliance for the price and if you are restricted by size then its ideal. This is more of a couples fridge/freezer and would not be any use for a family the wine rack is excellent for making more room in the fridge, the freezer is small but again good for food rotation.."

Pros: Easy to use, performs well

Cons: Noisy, fitting issues, bad fridge design, very cramped overall

"So far the fridge freezer itself has performed very well in terms of cooling. But apart from that we've been disappointed with it.

Firstly, it's pretty tiny inside. The walls are really thick, especially the back, which means you can't get a bottle of wine in laying front to back on many of the shelves - to me that's a big fail right there! Also the design inside is very poor - there's lots of wasted space and the door shelf sizes aren't at heights which make them very usable.

In terms of capacity, the freezer is even worse... the drawers are just tiny.

Also we had real problems putting it into the cabinet - on the picture it looks like a 50/50 but the freezer door is actually smaller than the fridge one, not enough to be 70/30 though. There's a big gap between the 2 doors. So to fit it into the 50/50 unit we bought we had to jack it up by about 10cm to ensure both doors would open. This means my vertically challenged partner needs to use a step to get at anything above the 1st shelf in the fridge!

Noise wise, it's not too bad but making this strange creak when on every few seconds. This might be an installation issue but we haven't looked into it yet.

All in all I would avoid this F/F. Certainly not a best buy given its limited capacity; it's fine for couples and single people but there's no way a family could cope with this."

Beko BC50F Fridge Freezer

The BC50F is an integrated fridge freezer that offers a good amount of space. It blends seamlessly into your kitchen as it’ll sit neatly behind your existing cupboard doors, giving you a streamlined design. The door’s reversible too, so it’ll suit any layout.

Inside the fridge you’ve got 155 litres of space, which is plenty for a small family’s weekly fresh food shop. You’ve got 3 adjustable glass shelves to play around with, as well as 2 half width salad boxes to keep your fruit & vegetables separate. Plus, the Auto Defrost function means any build up of ice on the back wall will be melted away. You won’t have to do a thing.

The freezer has 74 litres of space spread over 4 compartments, so you can easily separate your frozen peas from your tubs of ice cream. Like the fridge, you’ll never find a build up of ice, as this model is frost free. It also means things like burgers won’t stick together and your food will keep its colour and texture for much longer.

As this appliance is rated A + for energy efficiency, it’ll cost an average of just £38 a year to run. That’s much cheaper than an older, less efficient model, so you’ll be saving money on your bills.
