Beko BC73F Built In Fridge Freezer - White

Energy efficiency from Beko. The BC73F fridge freezer has a capacity of 237 litres, making it perfect for the average sized household. At 54cm wide, it’s slimmer than your standard fridge freezer, so it’s ideal if you’re short on space. With its A+ energy rating, it’s no surprise it only costs £34 a year to run. And if that wasn’t enough, it’s frost free too, which means ice doesn’t build up, so you’ll never need to manually defrost it.

"Beko BC73"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Quiet

Cons: freezer size

"Old AEG fridge freezer broke down , bought this as a replacement as the freezer is frost free & it fits the units.

Great fridge , freezer would be a bit small for large families.

Otherwise thoroughly recomment it."

"Oh so quiet!"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Quiet

Cons: none

"I bought this appliance to replace my broken Zanussi which was installed when the kitchen was installed 7 years ago. This one was half the price of a comparible Zanussi replacement! The interior is virtally the same as my previous model. The big difference is how quiet the Beko BC73 is...I keep opeing the fridge door just to check it's still working because I can't hear it!

The interior size is fine for us (a couple), but I think it would be quite small for a family.

I'm very pleased with it and would recommend it."

"Top Fridge Freezer"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet

Cons: none

"The layout inside the fridge freezer is very good indeed and just suits our needs. The appliance is also very quiet. We particularly like the fact that it is frost free and automatically defrosts. Generally it outclasses our previous fridge freezer which was a much more expensive appliance."

"Again with Beko their installation instructions are a little hard to follow, but for the price you cant beat their products.

water build up on back of fridge takes a little getting used to just done leave anything leaning against the back."

"Good value"

Pros: Value for money, Quiet

Cons: small capacity esp freezer

"Freezer is quite small but still adequate. It's much quieter than my previous fridge/freezer. Seem to be having problems with temp control in the fridge, but for a frost free model, this is very good value."

"Good but for one silly fault"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Quiet, looks good, auto freezer defrost

Cons: some poor workmanship

"I bought this Beko fridge-freezer in a hurry when our 10 year old Siemens fridge-freezer packed-in over the Jubilee weekend. For space and performance it is as good as the old fridge-freezer. The Beko is an improvement in that it is no longer necessary to manually defrost the freezer compartment. Now the fault: I needed to swap the hinges to the opposite side so that the doors would open from right to left. Beko have catered for this change by pre-drilling and tapping bolt holes to mount the door hinges on the left side of the fridge-freezer. Except that on my fridge-freezer the two bolt holes for the upper hinge of the freezer door are drilled 3mm too low. By having the hinge plate on a slant, I was able to screw home the bolt farthest from the hinge-pin in order to hold the door in place. But this surely is sloppy workmanship by Beko."

Beko BC73F Fridge Freezer Built In

With a capacity of 237 litres, the built in Beko BC73F fridge freezer is ideal for the average sized household. Thanks to its reversible doors you won’t have to worry if it will suit the layout of your kitchen, as you can choose which way to open the door.

Thankfully, there will be no build up of ice in the freezer, as it comes with frost free technology. This works by reducing humidity and minimising the formation of frost. Not only does this save you the task of defrosting, but it means its A+ energy rating won’t decrease in time, as excessive ice can cause the appliance to use more electricity. And at just £34 a year, it’s cheap to run too. The freezer also comes equipped with 3 separate see through compartments, so you’ll be able to find those pizzas, no problem.

The fridge has loads of room too. It contains 3 adjustable glass shelves, letting you store taller items, and a bottle rack with room for four bottles. Perfect if you want a chilled glass of wine after work. And so your vegetables don’t get squashed by bulky items like ready meals, there’s the handy salad bin. It’s useful if you buy strong smelling herbs too!
