Beko BDVC664W Freestanding Electric Cooker - White

Simple and very spacious. With a combined total of 100 litres, the Beko BDVC664W is ideal for a 3 or 4 person home. You’re getting both conventional and fan heat; so in addition to the conventional top heat which gives you that homemade, golden brown finish on your pies and pastries, you’ll be able to cook quicker too. Fan cooking gives you such an even heat that your food cooks the same from all sides. Brilliant at saving you time in the kitchen. Rated A for energy efficiency across both ovens, cooking isn’t going to cost you a fortune with this model. Please note, the cable doesn't come included, as it needs to be installed by a qualified engineer. We now offer an installation service when we deliver, so you can be safely up and running on the same day!

Product Reviews

"Watch your toes!"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

Cons: tall people may have a problem seeing the switches

"I replaced my dead Tricity Bendix oven with this BEKO model and although I have only been using it for 2-3 weeks it is already proving to be a very worthwhile purchase.

Compared with my previous oven the BEKO hob and ovens heat up rapidly. My cook books (Mary Berry) suggest using 20' lower temperature with a fan oven, but I am finding that BEKO'S tip to cook for a few minutes less, works well. I have found that the fan oven is probably the quietest I have ever come across, such that had to check that the fan was in fact working!

The grill gives relatively fast and even heat. Would be better if a grill pan was included; I kept hold of my old one which fits perfectly well.

I agree with a previous reviewer that the timer/alarm signal could certainly be louder; once the radio is on with John Humhreys banging on about the latest economic disaster and the washing machine is spinning away, it's virtually impossible to hear. But once one is aware of that, another type of alarm can be used.

One other gripe I have with this otherwise good piece of kit, is that unlike my last oven, which had a door opening at least 3" above floor level, the BEKO's door skims just above the floor; and when opened with gusto practically decapitates the little toe in the process...or on a later occasion (some people are slow to learn!!) splits the big toe nail down the middle!

However, this does provide the gathered company with a great source of amusement, to see their evening's chef , hopping around like a demented rabbit .BUT beware of the low swung door...wear steel toecap boots when cooking, if like me you are forgetful and vigorous!.

Otherwise I am delighted with the appliance. The build quality is much more robust than I anticipated. It sits well in my cottage type of kitchen and it has given the husband, daughter and son-in-law a great laugh!

Would certainly recommend as value for money."

"Beko BDVC664W Free Standing Electric Cookers in Wh"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

Cons: no drip pan

"This cooker is good value for money we have used the oven a good few times now its fast at heating up and keeps a good constant heat this includes the hod also , only real issue is there is no actual drip pan for the oven so we have put tin foil into the bottom when cooking things that may drip,The ceramic hob marks easy if things boil over but then they all do nothing that hob bright wont fix Beko might not seem a top name but our fridge , washing machine are all Beko and worked for years ,Best value and reliability out there , no regrets with this purchase ........."

Cons: hob hard to clean

"Good cooker with consistent heating. Ceramic hob is almost instant but can be difficult to clean. Recommend getting a hob scraper."

"Quality at last"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

"I was dreading having to buy a new cooker.

After having the same one for 20 years I had had 2

in fairly quick succession and was in despair at their poor quality and design faults... the final straw being when the door fell off a three year old model. I had looked at this Beko BDVC 864W cooker for some time on line, thinking it seemed to have all the features I wanted, but not daring to hope. However after 2 weeks of cooking with it I am totally won over. It is strongly built, efficient, easy to clean and very good looking."

Beko BDVC664W

The Beko BDVC664W has a very impressive oven capacity for a standard 60cm wide model. It holds a total of 100 litres across the double electric oven, giving you plenty of space to cook in and more than enough room to prepare dinner for 3 or 4 people.

The main 65 litre oven comes with fan cooking, which gives you a completely even temperature around the oven. It’s really useful for chicken breasts or fillets of fish, as you won’t have to worry about raw centres or burnt corners. Everything cooks through at the same rate so you can even reduce the overall cooking length and save yourself time and energy.

Just above, the 35 litre top oven uses conventional heat. This means the oven gets hotter at the top, giving you the ideal conditions for a golden brown finish. Pies, crumbles, casseroles, even roasted joints of meat – they all come out fantastic using this kind of heat. Using the smaller oven is great for single portions too; you won’t have to spend extra time and money heating up the big oven.

Up on top there are 4 separate zones on the ceramic hob. It’s enough to give you space for all your pans, plus the smooth surface makes it much easier to clean than fiddly gas hobs – there aren’t any dials or pan supports to get in your way. You won’t have to break out the toothbrush and expensive cleaning sprays – all it takes is a soft cloth and hot, soapy water to lift up any spills.
