You’ll have no trouble cooking for a big Sunday dinner in the COUNTRYCLASSIC100DF. It has two electric ovens which have 104 litres of space between them. You could put the turkey in one, and the trimmings the other. The top right oven uses fan cooking, so the temperature will be the same around each shelf – great for batch baking. The bottom left oven is conventional meaning heat concentrates towards the top, which is great for roasts as it is quite a moist heat.
The top left cavity is a variable grill giving you very precise temperature control – not just low and high heat. You’ll be able to grill fish and meat perfectly. The bottom right cavity is a handy storage draw where you can hide away you pans to keep your kitchen top clear.
The hob is huge. It has 8 burners which all have cast iron pan supports. These are much sturdier and reliable than enamel ones, staying in great condition for longer. It’s a very safe hob too. All the burners have a flame safety device which automatically turns off the gas should the flame ever go out.
To prevent you from overcooking your meals the main oven has a minute minder. It lets you set what time you want the oven to stop cooking, so you won’t accidentally burn the kid’s dinner. You’ll find the ovens really easy to clean as they’re all covered in easy clean enamel. This is a very smooth coating on the oven walls to stop sticking and even easier to wipe away.
