Bosch’s DHI665VGB has 3 venting speeds and the highest draws in air at 450 m³/h – which is great when you’re cooking a stir fry. There’s two lower setting for removing steam from boiling potatoes or simmering soup. If you accidently burn your food, then there’s also an intensive setting. This extracts at a massive 700 m³/h to remove the evidence. For changing speed, you have easy touch button controls.
The DHI665VGB is a really quiet model at just 47dB. This is even lower than a normal conversation, so if you have open plan living you can watch TV without it being drowned out. It also has two halogen lights that are brighter and longer lasting than standard bulbs.
Save space with the handy telescopic design. The hood is only on show when you’re using it, so when you’re finished, just slide it back in. Great for fitting in with your decor. It measures at 60cm wide, so is best placed above a hob or cooker of similar dimensions.
You get 2 grease filters with this model. They catch impurities like oil before returning clean air – which is great for protecting your walls from stains. The filters are really easy to wash too – just stick them in the dishwasher or soak in soapy water.
You can either vent externally or internally with this model. If venting externally you will need access to an exterior wall and an additional ducting kit. If you want to re-circulate clean air inside, which is ideal for flats, then you’ll need a carbon filter.
