The main cavity in the DHS53CXS has 65 litres of space which will suit a large family nicely. There’s loads of room for a roast and plenty of trimmings - fab if you’re entertaining. The secondary oven is a 35 litre conventional oven which doubles as a grill. It’s great for just keeping something warm or melting cheese on toast.
There are catalytic liners in both the ovens keep them clean from grease and dirt. The liners absorb any mess that’s created from cooking, preventing it from building up around the oven. You simply need to set the oven to a high temperature to empty the liners.
Built in means that it'll sit at eye-level in your kitchen so you won't have to keep bending to see what you're cooking. The doors are double-glazed and have air cooling, so they won’t be hot to the touch; great if you have little ones about the place.
One really handy feature is the fully programmable timer that lets you preset what time the ovens turns on and off. Simply set it to come on an hour before you get in and your meal will be ready and waiting.
This model also has two extra functions – defrost and slow cook. Defrost is great when you quickly want to thaw a few chicken breasts. Unheated air is circulated around the oven to defrost your food quicker and more hygienically than leaving it out on the side.
The slow cook function is great for cooking really tender and juicy meat. Just pop your stew, or joint of meat in the oven, leave it on slow cook for a few hours and it’ll be deliciously succulent.
