The Hotpoint EG902GXS is quite simply perfect for people who take their cooking seriously. It looks like a professional piece of kit and certainly cooks like one.
In the main oven, you get 54 litres of cooking space to play with and 7 different cooking settings to help everything run smoothly. It’s a fan oven, which means you can pop your food in, set it going and hot air constantly moves around the compartment during cooking. Everything’s cooked evenly from top to bottom and better still, there’s no need to turn it over half-way through. The pastry setting is great for keen bakers as it can be used for everything from traditional tarts to proper pasties. You’ve also got a pizza programme for delicious home-made creations. And there’s also a gratin setting for those of us who can’t resist a bit of gratin dauphinois.
You’ve also got a 36 litre second oven which uses conventional cooking. It’s great for things like pasta bakes and shepherd’s pie as heat is hotter at the top than bottom. That means you’re left with a wonderfully piping hot filling and beautifully browned top.
