Bosch GCM28AW30G Chest Freezer
The GCM28AW30G offers some serious freezing space. There are 311 litres available, which is plenty for a bigger family’s weekly shop, or if you’re after a bit more space for bulkier items like joints of meat and tubs of ice cream. So you can see right down to the bottom, there’s an interior light, which you don’t often see on chest freezers.
It comes with a fast freeze setting too, which will really come in handy after the weekly shop when your food has warmed up a bit on the journey home. Hit this and it’ll rapidly reduce the temperature, cooling it down again in no time.
It opens from the top, so you can see what you’ve got with ease, and there are two baskets which are good for keeping things like ice lollies to hand. The lid is counter balanced, which means you don’t have to worry about it slamming down and trapping any fingers, plus there’s a lock for safety that’ll stop any children opening it if you don’t want them to.
Rated A++ for energy efficiency, it’ll be nice and cheap to run. In fact, it’ll cost you less than £28 a year to run, which is nothing when you consider how much room you’re getting.
