Belling GT756 Freestanding Gas Cooker - Anthracite

Easy cooking for a smaller household. The Belling GT756 keeps things simple. With 39 litres of cooking space in the main oven and 16 litres in the top oven / grill, it’s the perfect size for a smaller household. Conventional cooking in both compartments means it's hotter at the top than bottom, making it great for things like pasta bakes. The top oven doubles as a grill and because it’s temperature variable you can brown cheese on toast just to your taste. And up top, there are 4 gas burners with easy to clean enamel supports.

Product Reviews

"Good purchase"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Quiet, looks good

Cons: none

"Very good double oven for the money. Looks nice and stylish. Easy to clean.

But disappointed with the grill. It takes an age to cook even when your trying to cook a bit of bread for toast , and the grill pan handle is hard to use as it is not attached permanently and is hard to attach ."

"faulty cooker"

Pros: Good build quality, looks good

Cons: difficult to light

"this could be a good cooker, it is a sturdy build, but unluckily for me, the top oven does not work properly, only keeps things warm. also the smallest ring on the hob, for simmering, is so hot even on minimum, that pans still boil over with the lid on. Also, the grill takes a rather long time to light. so over all it is not as good as my old cooker."

Belling GT756

The Belling GT756 isn’t the fanciest of cookers but it does the job. If there aren't a lot of bods in your house, the 39 litre main oven, 16 litre top oven / grill and 4 gas burners give you the perfect amount of cooking space.

Both compartments use conventional cooking meaning you can pop a large lasagne in the main oven for tea or whack in a jacket potato up top if you’re feeling a little peckish. They’ll both come out with a lovely crispy exterior and perfectly piping hot inside. The top oven can also be used as a grill; it’s the perfect size for a couple of bacon rashers. As it’s temperature controlled, you can adjust it to cook your bacon as crispy as you’d like, too.

If a bit of pasta and sauce is more your thing, look to the 4 gas burners on the top of the cooker. In 3 different sizes, you can place a big pan of tortellini on one whilst your arrabbiata sauce simmers away next to it. If you’re low on space when it comes to plating up, lower the glass lid and you’ll have plenty of room to serve up dinner.

When it comes to cleaning, the enamel oven walls and hob supports make it a doddle. Simply wipe it down with a warm, damp sponge to keep it clean and tidy.

Plus, all burners and both ovens have flame failure devices. These cut off the gas supply should the flame go out, keeping you safe so don’t worry about gas leaks.
