You run in from the street, from playing alleys over the back field and you’re greeted with the warm, loving smell of freshly baked bread. You follow the scent, dancing along the hallway into the kitchen where you lay eyes on your mother. She smiles at you as the oven door opens up and let’s forth the most wonderful sight you’ve seen all your life.
It’s funny how easily something can spark a memory and the Hotpoint HAG60P gas cooker has no doubt sparked millions. The main 65 litre oven is conventionally heated which means it’s perfect for more traditional cooking styles like baking and you’ll almost get a scent of it yourself when you lay eyes on it.
Natural gas is perfect too as it contains a lot of moisture, meaning your food won’t dry out while you’re cooking it, and if you’re going to have a fair few dishes on the go at once you’ll love the secondary 35 litre grill compartment which naturally comes with the variable grill but also can be used as a smaller conventional oven.
Up top you have the 4 gas burners on the hob and the enamel pan supports are not only a great aesthetic feature but are pretty hardwearing too. They’ll take all your pans throw at them and more.
However if I’m honest, my favourite part of the HAG60P gas cooker is the fact that both oven cavities come with stay clean liners. Perfect if you’ve not got much time to waste cleaning, these liners actually oxidise grease and dirt away at high temperatures so you can cook your oven clean.
