"Great for the price"
Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Quiet, looks good
"Purchased this dishwasher as our old Smeg one finally gave up the ghost but after at least 14 years of service. We were worried going from a Smeg to a cheaper brand and really can't say too much about it as yet as have not long had it. It's roomy, takes a bit of getting used to lifting up sections to use for other washable items, but feel this will be a bonus over time. The pull out baskets themselves are of a cheaper, lighter quality than the Smeg one's and we only hope that they hold their weights and don't end up bending. We've seen these cheaper baskets across this kind of cost item range so is not just Hoover. Hopefully they won't bend and we won't have a problem, its just we noticed the difference of the robustness between our previous machine and this one. I do love the small pull out drawer wash basket at the top for utensils. This is a great addition as we had always had to find spaces for our utensils in between items in the top basket, now they have their very own place. Love the wine holders that pull down if required on the top large basket, love the drop down supports for different items at the bottom. The cutlery basket is an adequate size although it seems you can place it anywhere in the bottom basket for a wash. This might be a good thing as you are able to manoeuvre other items around so they sit as you want. Our kitchen door was easily fitted to the front of this one, but one bothersome thing is that to fix the machine to the cupboards either side you have to drill through the machine @_@ I would of preferred to have secured it to the worktop above as we had done so with our previous model. I do believe there is one place to do this, but the other side happens to position itself over the sink so could only be attached one side. As said, we haven't had it long so can't really give an honest overall opinion. It does look good, its quieter than our previous machine. It's roomy, it fitted in easy into the space provided, the wash modes are simple to choose and use, the door itself feels very strong and robust, the same as our Smeg, so that's good and the main point is that it washes well. We have so far used mode 1, general washing and mode 2, a hotter wash for killing bacteria. We have yet to use mode 3 for a heavier clean, nor have we used the half wash option yet, but am sure we will do so at some point. Price for this machine seems good value, especially with the good wash modes and the versatility of those baskets, which was one reason for our purchase, together with the wash modes. We also have a Hoover 11kg washing machine which we purchased for around £600 about a year ago and so far that has been exceptional, so am hoping that this item of there's will also work out to be a good buy, albut a little cheaper than we are used to paying out, but we seriously don't need too many choice modes of washing our dishes. As far as we are concerned as long as the dishwasher washes our items, then its doing what its name suggests!! As said the price you pay for this is great value as to what you get so i would definitely recommend based on that and on our usage so far!"
