The Hotpoint HUD61XS has a combined 100 litres of cooking space and 4 gas hob burners, giving you enough room to prepare a large meal for a family.
Dual fuel cooking means that you have greater flexibility and choice. The electric ovens heat up quickly, whilst gas is known for its responsiveness. You can reduce the heat almost immediately at the twist of a knob.
With 65 litres of room in the main electric oven, you won’t struggle to fit the Sunday roast in. It’s fan operated, so whatever you put in there, it will be cooked evenly on all sides, without the need to turn. In the top conventional oven / grill you’ve got a further 35 litres of space and the grill is twin variable. Use the whole thing when grilling a couple of chicken breasts or half power when a bacon butty is in order. Because it can also function as an oven, if you’ve got a lasagne to cook, you can stick it in here. Heat is hotter above than below, meaning it’ll have a lovely browned top and piping hot and saucy throughout.
Cleaning is made easy for you, thanks to catalytic liners that work at 220°C to burn away the grease they’ve absorbed during cooking. The enamel pan supports on the hob make mopping up spillages easy, too. Just a few quick wipes with a sponge is all you need. Don’t panic if the stew boils over.
Safety is also taken care of with a flame failure device on the hob so if one goes out, the gas supply is cut. Shutting the glass lid will also do the same. And it’s A rated so any fuel you use won’t be wasted, keeping your bills down.
