"Good, functional oven"
Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good
"This replaced an older grill/oven where the grill element had gone and I was unable to get a replacement.
Delivery was excellent as usual, with frequent updates on arrival time including a text from the driver.
Installation was pretty straightforward; the only downside is that this oven doesn't come with a flex attached so you need a competent person to wire it up for you. But it's no harder than wiring a plug.
The grill pan is quite deep which is great for roasting, but it does mean that it's best to keep the grill pan on the bottom rack otherwise it takes up too much space at the top of the oven and makes it difficult to use both shelves. To use it for grilling it's easy enough to move it.
There's no handle on the grill pan either so you can't grill with the oven door open.
There is also a handy fan grill option for use when roasting, which is a nice feature.
The overall build quality is good, but the body panel could perhaps be a bit more solid - it flexes under your finger when you're pressing the alarm buttons. But on the other hand, the unit as a whole is a lot lighter than the one it replaced, so I can't really complain.
It heats up very quickly and is quiet in use. There seems to be a fan that keeps running for a while once it's switched off, which helps cool things down quicker.
Overall, it's so much better than our old oven and a great buy at the price."
