Product Reviews

"Excellent replacement"

Pros: Value for money, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

Cons: new programmes take time to learn

"It is a close sliding fit in our existing cabinet which housed our old single oven for 20 years. Unit looks great, but the 11 programmes take a bit of getting used to. There is a circular element at rear (turbo heat) that works with the fan for multi-trays, or at lower temperature for keeping food warm. Elements at top and/or bottom used for single trays, but fan with turbo heat can be used as well. Cakes, both fruit and sponge, cooked well and evenly with all three. We love the LED icon of the fan which rotates when the fan is running and like the fact that the fan turns off when door is opened to keep the heated air in.Timer works fine but doesn't show how much time is left to complete its programme. Good looking, efficient and reasonably priced."

"Excellent Value Oven"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good, energy efficient, easy to clean, lots of useful features

Cons: none

"This oven was purchased due to my old oven packing in, taking forever to heat up and only having an on/grill/off set of features.

This oven is completely different...

Firstly the oven looks professional, clean and high tech with its push in/out dials and digital display. The digital display is easy to read and understand with a display to specify the current program and one the time/temperature.

There are 12 programs which are easy to understand AFTER reading through the instructions. It took me about an hour of use to understand which symbol meant what.

The oven has several advanced features you'd expect from a high tech oven. The semi-automatic mode switches off the oven once a specified time period has passed. The automatic mode switches ON the oven at a certain time that is calculated to allow the oven to heat up to temperature AND cook for a given amount of time. This is an EXCELLENT feature which allows me to place a dish in the oven at 7am, go to work, and at 7pm I arrive home to a fully cooked meal ready to eat.

These features can be confused with the alarm, which is a separate feature. The alarm is simply that, and does not interfere with the oven by switching it off when done.

The interior is as expected and easy to clean.

The oven heats up very quickly, 220oC in 5 minutes on the boost setting (another feature that heats up the oven to temp then switches back to the chosen setting) which is miles faster than my previous oven (around 30 minutes for 220oC).

Overall I would recommend this oven for several reasons:

-- The price

-- The large number of features

-- The energy efficiency

-- The value for money

Excellent purchase!"

"Very happy with this oven !"

Pros: Value for money, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

Cons: Complicated

"I have had this oven for a year now and can only report good things. It has not let me down so far, heats up reasonably fast and cooks evenly enough. This last point is the reason why I am only giving it 4 stars overall, as cakes do tend to get ever so slightly darker towards the back, so the heat is not 100% evenly distributed. However, it still delivers wonderful cakes and biscuits and it also cooks meat and veg beautifully. Over all I am very happy with it and I wouldn't have expected it to be as good as it is, looking at how reasonably priced it was! One more thing: I still need to use the booklet to check I get certain settings right, as there are so many different ones. All in all though I recommend this ove very highly."

"I just fitted 2 of these ovens and they are great, They look really nice sitting side by side, the lcd display is easy to read and looks good, it may take a while to get used to all the functions but they are all pretty good. It does a great job on pizzas and cooks really pretty evenly, I have used it to make cakes and it works well, it does brown them slightly more at the back but nothing a half turn cant cure.

I would highly recommend this oven"

"Very nice single oven"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

Cons: none

"I bought this oven after my old one broke down.

The handle is nice and sturdy.

It heats up quite fast. I love the clock display. It's very easy to set up the timer. When the set time's up the oven turns itself off.

I usually use option 4 for baking (it's already preset to 205 C but you can change the temperature). My apple pie came out beautiful! I also used grill option for sausages. They were really nice and crispy.

Cleaning is easy too. You can take out the inside glass to wash it thoroughly in a soapy water. I love this oven!

Warning! The outside glass gets very hot! If you have small children - keep them off the hot oven!"

Beko OIM25503X Single Oven

In a stainless steel finish, the Beko OIM25503X oven will look great in a modern kitchen. It’s finger print free too, which is great if you have small children and it'll always look its best. The dials on the front can be pushed in when you’re not using them to create a sleek look and make it easier to clean.

As it’s a multifunctional oven it can help you cook almost anything. It has 12 cooking functions in all. The one you’ll likely use the most is the fan which makes sure the temperature is the same throughout. It’s ideal if you’re cooking a lot of the same thing like lasagnes, desserts or cakes for a dinner party. It reduces cooking times too.

There’s also a defrosting setting which circulates room temperature air to thaw your food. This is much more hygienic than leaving it on the kitchen counter and three times faster. Another really popular function is the pizza one. It uses the fan and lower heating element together to cook your pizza through while crisping the base. It’s also great for pies preventing the base becoming soggy.

When you’ve finished cooking, the oven is really easy to clean. All you need to do is wipe it down thanks to its grease resistant enamel interior. The glass inside the doors have a special Oleophobic Nano coating too, which stops dirt getting stuck to it - leaving you with very little cleaning to do.

The timer on this model is better than most as it’s fully programmable. This means you can preset what time the oven turns on and off. Set it to come on an hour before you get in and you’re dinner gets cooked without you even being home. You can walk through the door and eat straight away.
