Measuring 1100cm wide the Stoves RICHMOND1100EI is almost twice the width of a standard cooker, and with a combined total of 187 litres there’s more than enough space to cook for a 4 or 5 person home. Very handy if you like preparing more than one course at a time too.
The four individual ovens give you the choice of both fan and conventional cooking, as well as an extra slow cooking oven. Conventional heat is best for your traditional dishes, as the oven gets hotter at the top, giving you the rustic, homemade finish to your food. Fan, on the other hand, is best for cooking quickly. By circulating air around the oven you get a very even temperature, meaning your food cooks at the same rate from all sides.
With the slow cooking oven, the temperature remains around 50°C-80°C. It lets you cook things like stews and casseroles over longer periods of time, retaining all the goodness in your food and giving it more flavour. It’s excellent for using cheaper cuts of meat too, as even the toughest meat will become wonderfully tender.
The induction hob is a fantastic feature for keeping your cooking quick. By using magnets rather than a normal heating element, your pans heat up much faster than with gas or ceramic hobs. It also heats the pan without heating the glass surface, meaning the whole hob is much safer. If you’ve got the little ones in the kitchen too, you won’t have to worry about where they are or what they’re touching.
