Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good
"Our old John Lewis built in fridge freezer died aged 5 years and 1 month , just out of its guarantee. After extensive web searches and endless reviews ended up with this model.
Delivery came on time , a four hour delivery slot , and the two lads were very quick and helpful.
I installed it myself as I have done a few in the past.
NOTE ... the back legs on the base of this freezer are set right to the back of the unit. Check what your base panel allows as I had to install a slightly deeper panel on top of the original manufacturers cabinet panel.
If you do not do this the unit will tilt backwards.
You may be lucky and have a deeper panel to suit.
Easy to install otherwise with all the necessary fittings supplied.
I do wish sometimes that the manufacturers got some DIY people to help them write up their installation manuals though. There was one or two head scratching moments for me and I am a fairly canny lad .
My wife is delighted with the fridge area , well laid out, we don't need a wine rack thing so that saves space. Two good veg / salad draws, shelves are adjustable,
Freezer the same good draws , plenty of space.
Digital readout menu above unit self explanatory and easy to work.
Very slight noise from the unit when working but it only kicks in rarely , keeps its temperature very well.
You cannot expect a machine like this not to make any noise at all.
I find the fan on the oven and the extractor a lot more noisy.
Overall a very good appliance , of course its early days , only two months in.
Automatic defrost on the freezer a big plus ."
