Bosch Logixx SMS69L32GB Freestanding Standard Dishwasher - White

Full of useful space-savers. A top-of-the-line Bosch dishwasher, the SMS69L32GB provides enough room for 14 place settings. Large plates or dishes will fit easily thanks to the height-adjustable upper rack. It features a multi-use drawer on top, which replaces the cutlery basket to give you even more space. And you’ll still have enough space on top to fit any regular-size wine glasses. You'll wash dishes at your choice of five temperature settings, including an economy programme that uses less energy and water. Plus there’s an anti-flood shut-off device and a 2-year warranty, so using this appliance is truly worry-free.

"Not Keen On The Basket Design"

Pros: Quiet

Cons: basket design may not suit all.

"We bought this machine to replace another Bosch. This machine is good in many ways, but the baskets are not well designed. The top located cutlery tray means a loss of overall height in the rest of the machine (obvious perhaps). Consequently, even with careful adjustment of the basket height, our 26.5 cm (10.5 ins) dinner plates or our 20 cm (8 ins) wine glasses barely fit, with the cutlery tray slightly fouling the glasses when pulled in and out. If the basket is lowered to the lowest setting the plates will not fit. In addition the floor of the top basket slopes and is stepped on the right hand side which makes it difficult to balance larger diameter cups and glasses in place. To support our long stemmed glasses the glass supports have to be used which is a less efficient use of space. In our old machine the glasses would simply rest against one of the ordinary dividers. We were pleased with our old Bosch machine and I expect that this new one will last well and be reliable. However, I suggest anyone thinking of buying this model should try and have a close look at it "in the flesh" and decide if the basket design will meet their particular needs."

"Fantastic Quiet Dishwasher"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good, great interior design

"I have owned several dishwashers all made by Bosch and each time I have to purchase a newer model I am amazed by their new technology...

This model is so quiet I have to keep looking at it to make sure it is still working!

The cutlery drawer is brilliant, no more sliced arms putting knives into the cutlery basket and there is still plenty of room for crockery and pots and pans.

Well done again Bosch...you've topped it!"

"V quiet"

Pros: Value for money, Good build quality, Quiet

Cons: Complicated, cutlery drawer not basket

"First impressions are of a well-built, extremely quiet machine. One reservation is that the cutlery drawer takes some getting used to, and for me is not a good idea. You lose height, and I find myself forever opening and closing the drawer when loading, whereas previously (using a basket) everything was in front of you. I also preferred the old method of having the programmes on a series of push-buttons on the front of the door. The revised design requires longer and more buttons to push - a triumph of design over practicality."

"Excellent!"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

"3 weeks into ownership of this dishwasher and could not be more pleased. I was a little disconcerted at first to see the display in German, but a quick flick through the instruction leaflet and a simple press of a couple of buttons later all was well. First impressions were of excellent build quality, much heavier and far better put together than my old Hotpoint. Very easy to operate and so quiet! It has a very good range of programs which work well, with excellent results, the intensive area is particularly good for saucepans and baking trays which have been left overnight. Very versatile, with it's fold down racking allowing a varied combination of pans , plates etc to be loaded. All in all an excellent piece of kit! Well reccommended."

"Excellent if used intelligently"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good, versatile loading racks

"At first, the machine sometimes did not clean perfectly. Then I realised you get a choice of temperatures and water spray pressures so that you can use the least expensive and environmentally intrusive wash relative to how dirty your dishes are. The regular settings are for lighter soiling. But for dirtier dishes, use the hotter, more powerful washes. I soon learned to judge the appropriate setting. Good, refined machine -- and noiseless!"

Bosch SMS69L32GB

Large and oversized dishes are no problem, since crockery of up to 30cm will fit in the lower basket, while 21cm is the maximum size for the upper basket. Your dishes won’t be at risk of shifting and incurring breakage during the cycle, as there are 6 plate racks in the top basket and 6 in the bottom basket, plus 2 cup racks in each basket as well. These all fold away for added flexibility.

There’s a quick wash programme for those times when you need clean dishes fast. Plus you’ll appreciate the hygiene plus setting, which uses a longer, hotter final rinse – perfect for your chopping and cooking utensils!

A very quiet 38dB is all the noise it makes, so it’s no louder than a whisper. You’ll get a self-cleaning filter, which helps make maintenance hassle-free. And there’s a 24-hour delay timer, so you can set the machine to start while you’re out or overnight to take advantage of cheaper energy tariffs.

The Bosch SMS69L32GB is in the A+ energy-efficiency class, so it’s affordable to run. In fact, yearly energy costs are approximately £45 per year, based on 15p per unit.

For your peace of mind there’s a child safety lock. The unit also features an anti-flood device to help prevent troublesome leaks. And you can feel even more secure in the knowledge that there’s a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty included as well.
