"Extremely competent machine"
Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good, fit and forget!
"We pondered the idea of a dishwasher with a top shelf for cutlery for a while having had a removable basket in the last dishwasher. Although it takes longer to fill, you are guaranteed perfect cleaning results as everything is held in place with clear space around.
The other racks are very adjustable and we found all our plates, bowls, mugs etc are held securely during the wash cycle.
The control panel is simplicity itself, we have found the minimum temperature cycle does an excellent job in about 90 minutes. As this is a cooler wash, we find that plastic items need a quick wipe with a tea towel before storing. I don't see this as an issue and you have the option of an 'extra dry' function if desired.
The only thing i will say is that the cutlery shelf does hold a fair amount of water that splashes out when you first pull it open after washing, just remember to empty this first to avoid wetting things on the lower shelves.
It is exceptionally quiet in operation and seems very solidly built. Easy to install once you've studied (and understood) the pictorial instructions. Please be aware you will need a torx screwdriver, a phillips screwdriver a 17mm spanner and a hammer (to attach the moisture barrier to the underside of your worktop) so check the instructions prior to turning you kitchen upside down!
I would also recommend adding salt and rinse-aid (the machine needs to be set to your specific water-hardness). Even if you use the so-called 'all in 1' tablets that have added agents and salt. Dishes do come out with far fewer marks."
