"great product-as it should be for the price"
Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, reliable
"The last one (Miele) lasted 20 years.
If you have the money it is good value and worth the expense.
Tumble dryers are expensive to run regardless of make, this Miele uses sensors to detect if the clothes are dry (as did the old one) which has to be better than turning a timer and hoping for the best.
The unit is quite big and a tad ugly/industrial, not a worry for me as it's hidden away in a utility room, it has loads of features but I find that as with all my appliances you end up using just a few. Nonetheless a countdown timer, buzzer indicating end, light to find the last sock, delay start are all nice to have.
I'm a bit of Miele fan because their products perform and last a long time but the cost can make your eyes water so I guess it's down to cash flow.
One last point, whenever I've needed spare parts (I'm no repair man), such as vacuum cleaner hoses or replacement drawer for a fridge (over filled and ends up getting cracked) Miele always have stock, they answer the phone if you have a query and despatch quickly. At their prices I guess they can afford good service!"
