Beko TFF546APS Freestanding Upright Freezer - Silver

You can keep it in your garage. The beauty of the TFF546APS is that it can be housed in your garage or out building as it’ll work perfectly at temperatures as low as -15°C. That makes it great if you’re short on kitchen space or if you’re after an overspill freezer. It offers loads of storage too, holding 157 litres of room in total. It comes with 1 shelf with a drop down flap, 4 drawers and there’s even a really slim ice bank, which will keep your ice cube trays nice and flat. It’s frost free too, so you’ll never have to worry about defrosting.

Product Reviews

"Rather disappointing"

Pros: Quiet

Cons: Expensive, feels cheap & nasty

"No lights on the front to indicate the freezer is on and working ok

The door seal is loose and baggy and I am constantly pushing it back inside the door.

The temperature dial is inside one of the freezer drawers which makes it difficult to turn up or down."

"So far, so good!"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

Cons: lack of warning lights

"Have only had this three weeks but we are satisfied with its performance. I selected it for its ability to operate at low temperatures since it is located in the garage. It is the same model that I selected six months ago for my mother to replace her second freezer (although hers is white and ours is silver) and that has proven satisfactory.

My only criticisms would be that there is no temperature warning display, the thermostat knob is very stiff to turn (I had to use strip of rubber to get sufficient grip) and the drawers are rather flexible when loaded. On the other hand, it is extremely good value for money. Only time will tell whether or not it was a good buy."

"Garage freezer"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, looks good

"We purchased this freezer to house in our garage, its low working temperature makes this BEKO freezer ideal for that purpose. Most other makes are totally unsuitable for an unheated environment.

Whilst we have only had the product for a few weeks, it works well and suits the purpose for which it was purchased. We are pleased with the purchase"

"Beko freezer"

Pros: Quiet, Value for money

"Bought as a second freezer to house garden produce, it lives in a spare room and is quiet and fairly inconspicuous. Lack of on/off light on the front panel is a definite disadvantage as when we returned from hols, son's friend had slept in that room and removed the plug to connect his laptop. No one noticed the freezer had stopped working!

We have put a little freezer thermometer in one of the drawers as it is not easy to read or turn the temperature dial. The slimline drawer for ice cubes has a tendency to get stuck unless it's used delicately."

"Ideal second freezer"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

"I purchased this freezer, after reviewing many others, to replace one in my garage and chose it for its ability to withstand low temperatures. Excellent deep drawers to store pizzas and all the packaged items. Looks too good for garage but no space in kitchen. Also have a Beko fridge, same size, in kitchen. Would recommend make."

"Brill !!!"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good

"Very impressed. Have always liked Beko products for quality of build. My previous fridge and freezer I had for over twenty years and are still going strong at another house as we speak. The drawers are spacious, the fast freeze section is surprisingly roomy, the warning light is an excellent feature as you don't realise just how long you have the door open !! lGood looking piece of kit."

Beko TFF546APS Freezer

If you don’t have room in your kitchen for a freezer, the TFF546APS is the perfect solution. It operates at temperatures as low as -15°C, so you can store it in your garage or outhouse; a feature that’s exclusive to Beko. It’s a really good size too, offering 157 litres of space, spread across 4 drawers, a shelf with a drop down flap and an ice bank tray. This is really slim and great for keeping ice cube trays flat.

It’s completely frost free too, so you’ll never have to worry about defrosting. It also has a really cool super freeze setting. This will come in handy after the weekly shop when your food has been out of the freezer a while on the journey home. It rapidly reduces the temperature to cool down your food in no time. It’s great for sealing nutrients into your leftovers too.

It looks good in silver and comes with an integrated handle to create a really sleek style. And with an A+ rating for energy efficiency, it’ll be nice and cheap to run. In fact, it’ll only cost you about £30 a year, which is nothing when you consider it’ll be switched on 24 hours a day.
