The Indesit VRM640MC is a standard 60cm wide and has 4 separate heat zones, which is a good size for most households. It gives you plenty of room for your pans, and if you’re replacing a similar model, you won’t have to worry about fitting it in existing worktop space.
For each zone there are 12 individual power levels, which means you’ll have plenty of versatility when cooking. The low heats are ideal for gently warming milk, while the top power levels are excellent for things like salmon and cuts of meat. It’ll give you that tasty seared finish on the outside and lock in all the juices.
There’s a handy residual heat indicator to let you know when any of the zones are still hot after you’ve used them. It’ll stop you putting something down on the hot zone, or worse still touching it – it’s a clever way to prevent any little accidents happening.
You’ll find the VRM640MC much easier to clean than other hobs with bulky pan supports getting in the way. The hob is one smooth glass surface, so dirt and spills won’t stick. All you need to clean it is some hot soapy water and a soft cloth, saving you the cost of expensive cleaning sprays.
