"No Wash Day Blues Here"
Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good
"Have waited a few weeks to review this machine, well you have to put it through its paces to get a true picture of how it really performs.
Its a cracker, from its cheery jingle to its superb washing performance, I have tried lots of its preset programs with brilliant results.
Yes some of the spin speeds seem a little low but a quick re spin and its sorted, and it is fierce when it spins, things come out drier on its 1400 spin than they did on the 1600 spin of my previous machine.
The times shown at the begining of the wash cycle can look a bit daunting but because the machine is monitoring the wash they can be much shorter in reality, I've found doing a king sized bed set, quilt cover, sheet, four pillowcases, 6 tea towels, and a few other bits and bobs takes about 1hr 10 mins on a 40 deg wash with 3 rinses, and they are 100 per cent egyptian cotton.
Washed a King sized mulbury silk duvet on the cotton 20 deg cycle with 4 rinses in the same time and it came out like new.
Its a quiet machine, the eco bubble thingy hums a bit but its not intrusive, a warning here remember to cut down on how much washing powder you use or you could end up with a machine full of bubbles, making it work harder to get rid of excess foam, nice to have white socks really white again from cuff to toe.
I have only found one drawback, spin rumble, we have a suspended wooden floor in our kitchen so we screwed a piece of mdf to the floor before installing the machine which deadens the spin rumble, something to consider, as the spin is fierce.
All in all a beautiful washing machine, expensive yes but it delivers clean clothes useing less water, powder and electric so its swings and roundabouts."
