The Zanussi ZHT610X is ideal if you live in an open plan flat. It draws in air at a maximum of 200 m³/h, which is best suited to a smaller kitchen. Also, it has a noise level of 61dB, which is no louder than a normal conversation – so it won’t drown out the TV.
The 3 venting speeds handle different types of the cooking. If you’re sizzling bacon and frying eggs, then the highest speed would be best. Or if you’re having a quick snack like soup, the lowest will clear any gentle steam. It also has an easy to use slider controls to change speed.
It’s best fitted over a hob or oven that measures around 60cm for best extraction. It also has grease filters that absorb impurities in the air, like oils or greases. Great for protecting your walls from staining. The 2 lights are really handy too. They offer additional brightness and a bit of mood lighting on those dark winter nights.
Choose between removing air outside, or re-circulating clean air inside. If you want to vent outside, then you will require a ducting kit. If you prefer to re-circulate inside, which is ideal for flats, then you’ll need a carbon filter.
