You’ve got 2 different ovens in the ZOD35561XK, the bottom fan oven and the top conventional oven. Fanned heat is even, so every shelf is the same temperature – exactly what you need for cooking a few dishes at once (because the flavours don’t transfer). Conventional heat comes from the top and bottom of the oven, the top being the hottest part because heat rises, so this is more suited to pies, pizzas and anything with a crispy base/top. There’s a grill in the top oven too.
The defrost setting is really useful. It thaws frozen food 3 times faster than if you were to leave it out on the worktop all day. Not to mention, it’s much more hygienic than leaving food sat there for hours. And because it’s very gentle, you can defrost desserts like cream cakes and meringues.
All the shelves in the ZOD35561XK are fitted with stoppers, so you can’t accidentally pull one all the way out and drop your dinner on the floor. The doors are weighted too, stopping them from slamming shut while you’re carefully lifting out your masterpiece.
Thanks to the clear glass windows on the doors, you can see exactly how your Yorkshire puddings are getting on. There’s a light inside too, so there’s no need to get up close and peer inside – you’ll be able to see right to the back.
