Zanussi ZWT71401WA Built In Washer Dryer - White

Plenty of programmes for different fabrics. With a 7kg wash load, and 4kg drying load (this is smaller because clothes need more room to dry) you can get through your week’s work shirts in no time. Use the Easy Iron option to avoid creasing and all that’s left to do is hang them up. The ZWT71401WA has 21 programmes in total, including a Jeans Wash that uses low temperatures and lots of rinsing so it’s perfect for denim.

Product Reviews

"Looking good so far"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, looks good

"We have had the machine for 10 days or so and done plenty of washes and used the dryer. Everything seems fine. We know washer/dryers are generally less reliable than separates, but kitchen space dictated our decision and this model rated very close to the best in the recent WHICH? survey. As a "built-in" model it was a bit of a toil to build it in and re-attach the door with hinge positions slightly different from the one it replaced. But that would have been the case with any machine."

"Pleased with purchase"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality

Cons: waste hose needs to be sealed

"I was a bit wary about purchasing a washer dryer, as most people do not recommend them. So far I am very pleased. Although the dryer isn't as powerful as a dryer only machine. Overall it does the job. I would recommend that the manufacturers supply a completely sealed waste hose, because as a integrated appliance it was a tight fit, and kept leaking . Once replaced all ok."

"Good Decision"

Pros: Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good, beeps when finished

Cons: Expensive, none so far

"Needed to replace old faithful Zanussi standalone washer/dryer due to complete kitchen refit. Always said I would stick with Zanussi, but having heard a rumour that they had been taken over by Electrolux, decided to look at other brands. Read loads of reviews and found that the machines recommended by Which and the like, users didn't rate at all. So decided better the devil you know. It's early days as have only been using it for 2 weeks, but having had our kitchen out of action for a long period, we had some laundry duties to catch up on! I must say our new Zanussi is like an old friend returned revitalised from a long stint at a health farm and face lift! Very pleased."

"Quality washer dryer"

Pros: Easy to use, Good build quality

"I bought this only two weeks ago, and so far I have been very pleased with the purchase. Very good wash performance, quiet operating and most importantly a good build quality machine. I chose this brand based on customer reviews on the quality and I would also recommend, as this is a robust machine."

"OK But Freestanding Better"

Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality

Cons: not as good as a freestanding equivalent

"Bought this as wanted integrated machine and previous freestanding model was Zanussi and has been excellent. However this one takes longer (how is that more energy efficient) and spin speed is lower, due to being integrated, I'm told. Overall its ok but the freestanding one was better, it was quicker, the spin faster and the dryer better. So if you go for integrated remember it won't be as good as freestanding, so the choice is yours. Would still recommend Zanussi washer dryers."

Zanussi ZWT71401WA

There are plenty of other wash programmes to choose from including all the ones you use everyday like Cottons and Synthetics. The 40°C Delicates Wash is ideal for fabrics like polyester and wool because the temperature is low enough to not to damage them. Why waste time hand washing things when you can pop them in the washer dryer. You can drop the temperature even lower if it’s a really delicate piece.

With a 7kg/ 4kg wash and dry load, you can wash and dry 4kg in one go. If you just want to do a wash though, use the full 7kg and throw in 35 shirts – they’ll fit no problem. Alternatively, you’ll get 5 large bath towels in there.

Thanks to the Fuzzy Logic technology, there’s no need to worry about how much energy and water the ZWT71401WA is using. The machine adjusts each wash so it uses just enough water for the size of the load you’ve put in, no waste. There are no buttons to remember to press, the Zanussi will do this automatically.
