Rapid freezing from AEG. With a 100 litre capacity, the AEG A81000TNW0 is ideal for a couple or small household. It's got a really handy Frostmatic function, which will drop the temperature and freeze new food really quickly. It's great if your food's thawed on the way home from the supermarket. The classic white finish will look great in any home, and the A+ energy rating will greatly reduce energy consumption for cheaper bills. You can spend more money filling it up!
AEG are well known for their quality and this freezer is no exception. It just works. There's fan running for quite a lot of the time so it's not absolutely silent but it's not intrusive either. We've moved to an under-counter fridge and freezer and one thing we've noticed is space. The other one is that the drawers don't open that far for you to get stuff out and unlike our previous Hotpoint fridge freezer they're not designed to be taken out and carried, which was really handy for bringing frozen food back from the shops. Finally, it's not cheap so we're hoping we have got what we paid for!

unsure of this
I expect this unit to last 10+ years, and time will tell whether it delivers in that regard.
I find it is quite noisy though, noisier than the previous Electrolux (which didn't last 10 years, but also had a frost-free fan).
The door is not flat, which looks a little odd in line with other units. The plastic frame on top of the door, where the controls and display are mounted, is definitely flimsy and disappointing.
Other than those cosmetics, it seems to freeze fine. Ask again in 10 years.

No problems, could be better
It is what you would expect, seems well built and is quite.
I really cant understand why they can make these appliances with roller wheels? Spent an afternoon adapting an after market set. Problem was these kept slipping out. In the end joined the two side together with 10 mm threaded rod. Now easy to get in and out under the worktop. The same set of rollers work OK on the washing machine as it is so much heavier.

Good solid purchase
Fabulous efficient delivery men brought our freezer which had ordered online and not seen before. Lives up to all the reviews and delighted with it. Previously had Miele large freezer, so it is quite a contrast, but moving to a small cottage, have to adapt and feel very happy with this model. Quiet running. Like the see through drawers. They don't exactly 'glide out' but once we get used to them, will be fine. Recommend it.Not cheap but hope to get money's worth.

A good value purchase
At the time of writing this review with have had the freezer and its sister fridge for just over a week and were we've ticked all the pros it's quiet it looks good but letdowns slightly by the quality of the the build. The black plastic cover over the control panel at the top of the freezer was buckled and hanging off when it arrived, this has been sorted the application a small spot of glue. That said the inside of all the freezer the quality is apparent, far superior to the one that it replaced shelves fit neatly onto the shelf supports which are good quality

Excellent under-counter freezer
This is a very well-built, frost-free, under-counter freezer, using good quality materials. It has a very pleasing clean design and is very easy to use, with complete control over internal temperatures. It is also a Which? Best Buy. Improved insulation thickness inevitably means reduced internal capacity, unfortunately. My one small gripe is that the "fast freezing" compartment does not have a drop-down front lid: the drawer can only be pulled out so far, and the overhanging top hinders the placement of larger items (loaves, for example).
