Use every last ingredient. This Heston Blumenthal BEM800UK has a large 4.7 litre capacity and comes equipped with a scraper beater that scrapes the bowl making sure it captures every last crumb! It also has Load Sensing Technology which senses when there's a heavy load and automatically adjusts the speed to maintain the speed you selected. In fact, it works up to three times faster than ordinary beaters so it traps in more air, making light fluffier cakes. The electronic speed control and countdown timer really adds that professional touch, perfect for a budding baker.
SAGE SUPER SCRAPER MIXER PRO
The mixer arrived within two days of ordering. I am very impressed with the look (Silver) and build quality. It comes with a 2 year Guarantee and a 5 year motor warranty I have used it to make a couple of cakes and some pastry. I have to say how impressed I am. Using the scraper paddle the cake mixes were Mixed in no time. The cakes produced were light and fluffy. Changing the mixer blades etc is very easy (bayonet type fitting) and the unit comes with useful accessories making it easy to add ingredients whilst unit is mixing. The machine is really fast! Overall a good buy.

I love it! Looks really stylish, good quality and does what it says it will do...What more could I ask.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet

First off, this is a really high quality product. The brushed metal finish looks excellent, it's got a powerful motor that's happy to mix even fairly thick dough, and it feels like it's going to last forever.
The key selling point of the item is the "Scraper" mixing attachment, which has little rubber lips on the edge in order to scrape mixture from the edges of the bowl while mixing takes place. This seems to help make really smooth batter and cake mix, I managed to get some incredibly silky brownies out of it without even bothering to sieve the flower, which was impressive!
The basic action of the mixer is a "planetary" action, which means that the mixing attachment rotates the opposite direction to the head whilst mixing. I was a little unsure about only having a single whisk arm at first, but the planetary action does seem to make it work very effectively, it quite happily whips eggs into a fluffy mix.
The built-in timer is a nice touch, as is the rotary dial with light indicator, although it's a pain that there isn't just a pause button (you have to rotate the dial back and forth, which can be a little fiddly if you're trying to be quick).
The only issue I've seen with the item was the head of the mixer moving side-to-side a little when mixing something very thick. That doesn't seem to affect the device at all (it's supposed to power down if it has any serious problems and this has not happened to me), but it does make a slightly "unhappy" noise!
Overall, I'd say this is a really good product. The build quality is excellent and it really does absolutely charge through mixing even really heavy bread dough, so I'd definitely recommend this to someone who likes to bake!

My First Mixer
After 35 years of mixing cake mixture by hand, I finally decided to go 21st century. The Scraper Mixer Pro did not disappoint in my first creation a lemon drizzle cake.
Very easy to operate and to coin a phrase ' a piece of cake' to use. Forgive the pun. Resulting in a light and fluffy cake
Similarly with pastry for my vension pie. Light and perfect, as if I had created it myself.
Don't know why I dithered for so long
Definitely saves time and drudgery. Very 21 century !
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet, Value for money
