Versatile 5 zone ceramic hob - lots of cooking space
Dimensions (cm) - H90 x W90 x D60
Master the cooking with Leisure! The CK90C230S Cookmaster electric range oven not only looks great with its traditional design, it’s packed full of modern features too. The 58 litre main fan oven boasts faster cooking times at lower temperatures, saving you energy, and the 66 litre tall oven is great if you need that extra capacity. It has a dedicated grill cavity with grill pan, brilliant if you’re looking for a healthy alternative to frying. Up top there’s a 5 zone ceramic hob with central dual zone for amazing results, plus it’s really easy to wipe clean. Speaking of which, the main cavity has catalytic liners on its sides to make cleaning the oven that bit easier.
Aesthetically this range cooker looks great, people walk into the kitchen and go “ooh, nice cooker”. Sadly this is the only good point that I can say about the Leisure Cookmaster. After using this cooker for a week now, it’s really a massive let down in terms of practicality, build quality and functionality. Also after registering the guarantee, I found out that it is actually a BEKO cooker and not an independent UK manufacturer?!?
• Looks nice
• Good compact size at 900mm
• Large secondary oven is very handy for a sunday roast
• Nice metal handle bars
• Low quality build: flimsy shelves, wobbly top etc.
• Plastic control dials ?!?!?
• Paint coated fronts
• Hobs get hot outside of the designated heating circle
• Fan oven takes about 30 mins to heat up to 180/200 degrees, the bigger fan oven even longer.
• Difficult to set temperature of ovens as the controls dials are too bulky and not accurate
• LED display/control is fairly limited no temp display etc.
If you are after a good quality range cooker, to actually cook with every day, invest the extra few hundred quid and buy a better brand such as Smeg or Rangemaster.
