Delivering high performance bagless cleaning, this Dyson cylinder vacuum cleaner saves you the hassle of replacing dust bags. With 1200 Watts of power, it effortlessly picks up dust and dirt from carpets and hard floors, leaving every surface spotless. Its self-righting design means your vacuum will never fall over. This is because its heaviest parts are at the bottom of the spherical body, so it’ll always stand back up if it is ever accidently toppled over. It also has a handy crevice tool which is great for reaching into narrow areas.
I have to say that this is in fact a Musclehead! It's a very good vacuum with a powerful suction that recognizes the wooden/linoleum/ceramic floor from carpet (and rugs). I am a bit OCD about the carpet since I have a ton of allergies, and I really thought that my carpet was clean, but when I tried the Dyson I noticed that a normal vacuum can't get all the dusts and awful dirts deeply. I was completely amazed by it. There is a button on the bigger head (as you can see in the video) that says MAX. I tried it, and I think I am strong, but the suction is soooo strong I couldn't get the vacuum head from the floor... of course hubby could do it. :) When it's full and you need to clean the dirt from the vacuum, is easy as you can see and no messy bags that sometimes are too filled and can rip off (yes it did happen to me). The handle is ergonomic and has a pull that reduces the strength suction so it can be easy on the rugs, for example. The cord has a very good length, bigger than the normal vacuums which is a plus side, the down side is the noise of the vacuum, is normal. I thought it could be a little quieter or smooth, but maybe with all that musclehead power that couldn't be possible. A good side is also the Design and the fact that it never tumbles or falls. It will always stay upright, so you don't have to worry it will fall. Brings all the accessories needed and it a good investment for the household. From my point of view, this Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Musclehead Vacuum has a 5 star review. Excellent vacuum and now I understand people loving Dyson, you get what you pay for it.
I found this vacuum cleaner to be perfect for my needs. It provides great suction for a great clean on carpets and hard floors whilst still being easy to use. The self adjusting Musclehead feature provides seamless cleaning from one surface to another meaning I could easily go from a carpeted room into a room with wooden floors without having to manually adjust. The pivoting handle makes the transition from upright cleaning to under table cleaning or other angle effortless. It's an absolute pleasure to use. The big ball technology makes dragging a fallen over machine around a thing of the past. It follows you in any direction with great ease and self rights if tipped over to the side. A great machine that has simplified and greatly improved my vacuum cleaning experience :-)
The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball is by far the best vacuum I have ever had the pleasure (usually displeasure) of using. This cylinder vacuum is simply fantastic - it makes hoovering an absolute breeze - even the hard to reach areas! The musclehead on the Dyson adapts according to the type of flooring - something which I was fixated with when I first tried this out. Everything about this hooverf is easy. The emptying of the cylinder is very easy - one click of a button & it clears out without the need for touching the dirt! Fabulous for those with OCD or a germophobe ;-) The ball is fantastic - it prevents the hoover from falling onto one side - it simply rolls back onto its feet again - BRILLIANT! All in all I would recommend this everyone - it is the best vacuum I have ever used - the suction is phenomenal!
I've just done a review on the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball. It has some amazing features and benefits. It comes with a 5 year guarantee, it has "a lot" of suction power, a pivoting handle to make it easier to clean hard to reach areas with little effort, It uprights itself when toppled over, you get a stair tool and a really clever combination tool. It has a thin adaptation stick with a sliding brush. The brush is my favourite feature, you can clean your television, lights, game station, wall frames, pictures and mirrors without scratching them. It's a bagless cylinder, easy to empty (you sometimes have to physically pull hair out) but the amount of dust it collects, is eye opening. The cord is about 61/2" long. It's way to short to get around my house with, so that's a bit of a negative for me, but ideal for a medium sized home. The cord has a self retract button, and a red marker to show how much you need to pull the cord out, in order to avoid damages to it. The hose is telescopic and extends to a reasonable length. I find the Dyson Cinetics main body of the machine a little heavy. It could be that I'm just weak. But I wouldn't carry it up the stairs during cleaning. The flexi hose attachment is a little short too, especially for cleaning the stairs from top to bottom, great for a medium sized home. I find that the stair tool works best without the telescopic, hard hose, however the flexi hose will only clean about 6 steps before you have to either, carry it up with you as you clean, or take it up, plug it in upstairs and clean the top half of the stairs from upstairs, working your way down. The Musclehead foot has a power function so you can easily increase the suction power, I thought it was powerful enough, without that feature. The handle has a suction release function, so if you are about to vacuum up a sock, you have a chance to stop it from going into the vacuum by pulling the trigger on the handle, to release the suction power and not loose your socks or other objects like Lego. I would rate this machine a 5/5 for its performance as a powerful vacuum cleaner. I have pointed out that I would prefer it to have a longer cord, longer flexible hose and a lighter body weight. That aside, the more you use it, the more you realise and appreciate, how powerful the machine is, the technology behind the Dyson product range is credible, it's definitely a trusted brand. I have had my family and friends take a look at the machine, they were also able to try it out. They were very positive with their feedback and most of them said they would like to buy one and would recommend it. Overall it's a fantastic cleaning machine. I would like to review other products from the Dyson range. My carpets are definitely visibly cleaner. Buy it and try it out for yourself. I think 98% of users will love it. Happy cleaning. I hope you enjoy the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball, and you find my review insightful and helpful.
I would like to start by saying this machine is a great all round vacuum cleaner. Its does fantastically on wooden floors, carpets and rugs using the same attachment. The muslehead self adjusts to maintain suction across all floor types. The telescopic wand extends to 1250cm which also rotates 3 directions allowing 360degree rotation for hard to reach places. It also comes with a stair attachment and also a soft brush attachment which is great for dusting skirting boards and cobwebs etc. At 7.7kg its not overly heavy and also a lot quieter than my old machine. The best feature is the way you empty the cylinder. There are no filters or bags to replace and the eject button means that the dirt is compacted and hygienically emptied straight into the bin. The cord is nice and long at 6.6m and also has a speedy retract button so no winding of cords needed.Other handy features include a suction release button for any item sucked up in error, you can also vary the suction power and the machine if knocked over gets itself back up again. It stores neatly away and also comes with a long 5 year guarantee. Overall i'm very happy with it and having never owned a Dyson before the Big Ball Musclehead CY22 has certainly lived up to Dysons reputaition.
I chose this Dyson Big Ball Musclehead vacuum cleaner as it has an A rating for hard floor and an A rating for carpets too. I feel it copes better on hard floors than carpets. A turbo tool head attachment would have been better for getting up sock fluff and pet hairs that get inground into the carpet. It has a large musclehead floor attachment, which has a variable suction control on it. This has a low profile so it can easily slide under furniture. It has a small head attachment and also a crevice tool with a brush that slides up and down it, so two tools in one really. I prefer to use the brush tool on my wooden stairs, it's very easy to use and cleans efficiently. The tools are sturdy and have a firm snap when they fit onto the main wand, and are easy to detach. There is also an adapter that can be used to convert tools from an older Dyson to be used on this newer model. However, this does not work with the tools off my 16 year old DC04. The waste bin is a breeze to empty, with a simple flick of a lever, the rubbish ejects out. It is quite noisy, but I don't really mind this. The most important thing is that it cleans efficiently. The profile of the vacuum cleaner is quite small to store when the wand is connected to the rear of the machine. However, if it had a way of connecting the hose to the wand, this would make it smaller. I like the way it self balances when it falls over. This is a really innovative idea. It has the normal Dyson 5 year guarantee, which is excellent. Overall a good vacuum cleaner that would benefit from the addition of a turbo tool to ensure a more effective cleaning of carpets.
