This Neff chimney cooker hood will leave your kitchen a pleasant environment for you and your guests. With 3 different extraction speeds to choose between, you’re able to eliminate the slightest scrambled egg smell or the strongest fried bacon aroma. And thanks to the 2 grease filters, the smell of any greasy foods you cook up won’t linger or cling to your clothes. This model also has 2 lights to help you see what’s boiling or frying. Plus, it’s got a really strong and attractive stainless steel design.
Cooker hoods are designed to remove steam and odours from your kitchen by pulling in air and cleaning it. The extraction rate determines how quickly this can be done. This model has three extraction speeds to choose from, so it’s great for clearing the air in your kitchen quickly. Select the lowest setting when you’re simmering or steaming food and the highest setting for frying and strong-smelling food.
Suitable for 60cm hobs
When you’re looking for a cooker hood to suit your kitchen space, you want to make sure that it’s the right size. This model would look fantastic above a 60cm wide hob and would be able to remove the amount of steam generated by a hob of this size – making it ideal for a standard-sized kitchen.
With a noise level of 69db, this cooker hood is on the louder side of the decibel scale. This model is more suitable for larger kitchen spaces. If you want something a little quieter, take a look at models ranging from 45db to 66db.
Extraction and recirculation
When it comes to extracting air, you can choose to vent it externally or recycle air back into your kitchen. If you can connect a ventilation hose to an external wall, the cooker hood will draw air in and push it outside. If your kitchen layout doesn’t allow for this, charcoal filters will remove unwanted odours and smoke, before releasing the clean air back into your kitchen. This means your kitchen will always be nice and refreshed – whatever layout you have.
Low extraction rate
The amount of air that can be removed from your kitchen in an hour depends on how powerful the extraction rate of your cooker hood is. This model has a low extraction rate, which means it’s ideal for clearing steam, smoke and cooking smells from a small area.
An efficient cooker hood that blended-in with our existing kitchen. Straightforward to install, although chimney section needed to be cut down to fit existing units. Packaging was poor as first item was found to be damaged on delivery, but a replacement was specially delivered next day

Good value hood
This replaces a Neff hood of similar design that we'd had for 18 years. This is better designed in terms of location of controls but is otherwise similar. The hood was straightforward to instal but Neff's drawings showing dimensions and positioning of fixings are incomprehensible. However, it isn't difficult to measure the positions off the hood itself. The other issue is the chimney - it would be fine if the height is greater than the minimum. However in our case, the chimney height at minimum was too high and the stainless steel needed cutting ...not a straightforward job. However, the cutting was done and the hood installed level and easily and it looks good. So I'd be happy to recommend this hood but depending upon the dimensions of your kitchen, installation might need decent DIY or pro skills
Pros: Ease to use, Looks good, Value for moneyCons: None

I have had the hood installed only for a couple of weeks, so can't really comment on reliability etc. However, it appears well built and efficient. It was not easy to install, as the chimney is not collapsable as (apparently) many others are. Our installer had to cut it to fit (and cut himself in the process). I would not have wished to have been doing it myself.
Also, the hood arrived without interior packaging, suggesting that it may have been a return or ex-demo.

Veary pleased with this cooker hood, it looks good and fits well into my kitchen. There was a small scratch on it which only shows up in certain lights but I can live with that. Very easy to use.

Looks good and does an excellent job
This is easy to use. Unfortunately, I had to install this on an internal wall so its on recycle but it still works brilliantly. When on max I can feel a breeze 10' away! Only problem is that I've not found anywhere which stocks the filters yet. For such a pwerful cooker hood its surprisingly quiet - although there are quieter.

Our electrician wired up this hood and we had one light not working. Nothing drastic it was just that the bulb wasn't screwed in. No filters with this product.
