Perfect, discreet venting from Miele. This integrated cooker hood is designed to be fitted within a kitchen unit, giving a really seamless, discreet look. There are 2 efficient halogen lights to illuminate your hob perfectly and provide some ambient light for your kitchen, perfect for if you’re entertaining. There are 4 settings to choose from, so you will always have the ideal level of extraction, no matter what you’re cooking. You also have the option to vent externally, or if you need a bit of flexibility where to locate your hob, then you can recirculate.
For an integrated hood this offers decent performance although at a top end price.
Whilst a basic design, it does use quick release stainless steel filters which can be cleaned in the dishwasher, offers class leading extraction rates with an three normal fan levels plus an Intensive Setting, and two bright halogen lights.
Easy to use; opening the hood activates the lights, and the fan will come on at Level 2. Simple buttons with adjacent LED's provide touch control for all fan settings including off.
Good build with a 'straight forward' appearance typical of this hood design. Uses a double fan unit of a decent size, hence good extraction rates.
DIY installation relatively easy with height and depth adjustments. Note that Miele do recommend 150mm ducting for optimal extraction and noise performance. Not all kitchens have this installed and therefore an adapter collar could be required. A 120mm collar is included however if your ducting is different then plan for this before starting installation.

A BIT OF A CON
FIRST OF ALL, I READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE I PURCHASED THIS ITEM. THEY SAID IT WAS QUIET..( ARE YOU KIDDING ME) ITS LOUD ON THE SECOND SETTING BUT PUT IT ON 4 IT SOUNDS LIKE A JET ENGINE TAKING OFF..
FORCE OF THE FAN IS EXCELENT. ( I VENTED IT EXTERNALY) PITY ABOUT THE NOISE AS FOR THE FITTING BRACKETS (HAVE A DRINK BEFORE YOU ATTEMT IT)..
Pros: Ease to use, Looks goodCons: Expensive, Noisy

Good product.I was expectin a bit mote
Very good extraction.Easy to install. The motor of the extractor is quiet but the metal parts are making noise.its not top quality built. The lights are good but it would be good if there was a switch to control the lights. It has to be closed to switch off the lights.I received it with small damage on one of the filters.
Pros: Ease to useCons: Poor quality

Expensive but good
I bought this product for the high extraction rates and so far I have only needed to use the first two settings. The hood was very easy to install, so far I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Great fan, quieter than my old one and love that filters easily come out and can be washed in dishwasher. Good looking prodiuct.
Couple of things I would say;
- remember to buy your carbon filters (I was surprised how expensive they are so you may want to allow for that when choosing fan. I believe you need to replace every year).
- check the height (my builder said it was non standard and he had to amend magnet hood to fit.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, QuietCons: Expensive
