Get powerful cleaning and flexible manoeuvrability from Dyson with this bagless upright vacuum cleaner. Never lose suction thanks to the clever self-seal function of this model. The vacuum cleaner automatically adjusts to the floor type, creating a seal to preserve maximum suction power, so every last particle of dirt is collected in the 2.1 litre bagless cylinder. Navigating between your furniture and getting into every corner of your home is easy as the special ball technology helps the vacuum cleaner turn on the spot so it’ll glide effortlessly around the room.
So everyone raves about a Dyson, there is so much choice and none of them are cheap. Why? Well after using this to do 3 full cleans of the house i can see why. The house is a lot cleaner as it picks up so much more dust than my previous Hoover. It left TV style strips on the first clean causing much embarrassment. So is this a prefect cleaner. Gosh no, Dyson still use the same cumbersome hoover pipe where the metal extension is the full length of the flexi pipe meaning its hard to use the extension if you are physically close to the unit. There is all the dusty smoke cloud when you empty it. Picky things i know but even on this "cheaper" model i think they are still valid points. Would i recommend it, yes. You do get what you pay for you and the wife was right to make me choose a Dyson
The suction on this vacuum cleaner is too severe for me. It seems like it's sucking all the wool out of my carpet. There are less tools with this one than my last Dyson so a little disappointed on that score too.
a very good product it does every thing we want of it, and especially with the lighter weight it makes Mmm light work of it
This vacuum I would highly recommend. I found the product easy to put together and also has a modern look. The vacuum to use was very efficient and also effective around the house, it was very simple to use around tight corners and to get into small gaps. The extra features that are on the vacuum are very beneficial and I have used all the added components as every day use with the vacuum. The only negative point I have regarding the vacuum is when you move it from the upright position to the mobile position it seems like you may be breaking it however it is not, it is just a bit stiff. Overall I have found the vacuum very effective And has a very good suction and is not the heavy to manoeuvre and I would highly recommend to others.
Brilliant and great suction Carpet looks NEW again
The DC41 a solid machine with good build quality and powerful suction, so powerful that I made use of the suction control button to turn it down a little on thicker carpets. The brush on the cleaner head can be switched on (for carpets) and off (for smooth floors) with a button placed conveniently near the handle, instead of on the cleaner head on the floor. The 'ball' means manouvering the vacuum is a little different from conventional uprights. It takes some getting used to but it makes the vacuuming process a little quicker and more efficient. The hose extends generously and makes vacuuming heights and stairs simple. It's also transparent so handy for spotting if there are any mistakenly sucked up odds and ends in it. I did notice this machine is heavier than those I've been using and I wondered whether this would be a problem. However, because it is also compact, getting it up the stairs was easy. If you do struggle with heavier vacuum cleaners, you may want to consider a lighter machine. The filters are easy to remove, clean (Dyson recommend washing them every three months) and replace, although I expect they will need to be replaced eventually. Emptying the bin is also made as easy and hygienic as possible. You receive the usual stair tool attachment and a tubey/slanted/nozzle thang with removable brush. I notice the ads demonstrate other accessories but these need to be purchased separately. If you are considering replacing your vacuum cleaner and are looking for a good all-rounder that's quick to use, well designed and has very strong suction, and you are prepared to pay a little extra for it, the DC41 is worth a look.
