Out of sight, but not out of mind, this integrated AEG cooker hood is designed to be tucked away in your canopy; ideal if you prefer to have more space above the hob. With three extraction levels, you can choose how much power you actually need. A higher speed works well to remove those lingering fragrances from your cooking, while something slower would do the job if you’re boiling pasta. Two halogen bulbs give off a lovely glow so you can see your cooking take shape before your eyes
Cooker hoods are designed to remove steam and odours from your kitchen by pulling in air and cleaning it. The extraction rate determines how quickly this can be done. This model has three extraction speeds to choose from, so it’s great for clearing the air in your kitchen quickly. Select the lowest setting when you’re simmering or steaming food and the highest setting for frying and strong-smelling food.
Suitable for 70cm hobs
When you’re looking for a cooker hood to suit your kitchen space, you want to make sure that it’s the right size. This model would look fantastic above a 70cm wide hob and would be able to remove the amount of steam generated by a hob of this size – making it ideal for a standard-sized kitchen.
With a noise level of 70db, this cooker hood is on the louder side of the decibel scale. This model is more suitable for larger kitchen spaces. If you want something a little quieter, take a look at models ranging from 45db to 66db.
Extraction and recirculation
When it comes to extracting air, you can choose to vent it externally or recycle air back into your kitchen. If you can connect a ventilation hose to an external wall, the cooker hood will draw air in and push it outside. If your kitchen layout doesn’t allow for this, charcoal filters will remove unwanted odours and smoke, before releasing the clean air back into your kitchen. This means your kitchen will always be nice and refreshed – whatever layout you have.
Medium extraction rate
The amount of air that can be removed from your kitchen in an hour depends on how powerful the extraction rate of your cooker hood is. This model has a medium extraction rate, which means it’s ideal for clearing steam, smoke and cooking smells from a standard-sized kitchen.

Poor build quality
This was one of the dearest hoods of similar quality and it's hard to see why it demanded the higher price. The build quality isn't great as the stainless steel removable cover section that sits immediately above the cooker doesn't fit flush to the underside of the unit it is built into.

Its of pretty cheap construction,if you thought AEG was a quality brand this shouts cheap.however It works, but its quite noisy, this one replaced one that failed after 6 years with a faulty motor.I replaced it with the same type to save me the hassle of getting something else to fit. There are a lot better extractors out there.
Pros: Ease to use, Value for moneyCons: Noisy, Poor quality
