Measuring 100cm in width, this Baumatic built in chimney hood has the power to cope with a larger kitchen and would look great over a big hob or a range cooker. You can control the rate of extraction between 3 fan speeds, the fastest setting will help to remove those smoky aromas. There are 3 aluminium grease filters that catch all of the oil in the air and they’re removable, making them easy to clean.
When you’re looking for a cooker hood to suit your kitchen space, you want to make sure that it’s the right size. This model would look fantastic above a 100cm wide hob or range cooker and would be able to remove the amount of steam generated by an appliance of this size – making it ideal for a large kitchen or open plan living spaces.
Cooker hoods are designed to remove steam and odours from your kitchen by pulling in air and cleaning it. The extraction rate determines how quickly this can be done. This model has three extraction speeds to choose from, so it’s great for clearing the air in your kitchen quickly. Select the lowest setting when you’re simmering or steaming food and the highest setting for frying and strong-smelling food.
With a noise level of 55db, this cooker hood is a great option for open plan living. It operates very quietly, so you can enjoy your favourite TV programme, radio show or music channel without distraction from the extraction fan.
Extraction and recirculation
When it comes to extracting air, you can choose to vent it externally or recycle air back into your kitchen. If you can connect a ventilation hose to an external wall, the cooker hood will draw air in and push it outside. If your kitchen layout doesn’t allow for this, charcoal filters will remove unwanted odours and smoke, before releasing the clean air back into your kitchen. This means your kitchen will always be nice and refreshed – whatever layout you have.
Medium extraction rate
The amount of air that can be removed from your kitchen in an hour depends on how powerful the extraction rate of your cooker hood is. This model has a medium extraction rate, which means it’s ideal for clearing steam, smoke and cooking smells from a standard-sized kitchen.
Noisy, but then all cooker hoods I've heard before are. Simple operation system and simple to replace parts. Would have liked to have been able to buy filters at the same time but eventually found some online.

not as good as my old one
The cooker hood just looked like my old matsui hood but when fitted we can't believe the noise of the fan and when we try and change the speed settings we can't here or feel anyother speeds working also we have had to put blue tack round the frame to stop the vibration. If we hadn't had to pay for it being fitted i would most definatley had sent it back.

does the job but not quietly!
This is a good looking well built cooker hood, and it extracts reasonably well as well as being very straightforward to use, but it is very very noisy.

Cheap! In every way
Made from what apprears to be very thin stainless steel. Very difficult installation. the hood should be held in position on wall and holes then marked out from insidre the hood! Alnost impossible. I ended up making a rigid template. Very noisy in use amde worse I believe by the thin metal vibrating. Lights (incadescent rather than halogen or led) are mounted at back of hood so the majority of the light is on the wall rather than the hob.

This is a great value hood and looks the part too! The extraction is excellent if a little noisy but on Al honesty that doesn't bother me too much.
It does the job and that's all that matters.
