A hood with a hidden agenda. A cooker hood is not the most attractive thing you’ll ever buy, but it is a necessity in any kitchen and the Indesit H6611GY does the job perfectly. It can be hidden away behind a unit so you won’t even know it’s there and with three speeds, it’s great at getting rid of the grease and smells which are produced by cooking.
Cooker hoods are designed to remove steam and odours from your kitchen by pulling in air and cleaning it. The extraction rate determines how quickly this can be done. This model has three extraction speeds to choose from, so it’s great for clearing the air in your kitchen quickly. Select the lowest setting when you’re simmering or steaming food and the highest setting for frying and strong-smelling food.
With a noise level of 59db, this cooker hood produces a medium-level sound. So whether you’re entertaining guests, watching the TV or listening to music, you won’t get too much of a distraction from the extraction fan.
Suitable for 60cm hobs
When you’re looking for a cooker hood to suit your kitchen space, you want to make sure that it’s the right size. This model would look fantastic above a 60cm wide hob and would be able to remove the amount of steam generated by a hob of this size – making it ideal for a standard-sized kitchen.
Extraction and recirculation
When it comes to extracting air, you can choose to vent it externally or recycle air back into your kitchen. If you can connect a ventilation hose to an external wall, the cooker hood will draw air in and push it outside. If your kitchen layout doesn’t allow for this, charcoal filters will remove unwanted odours and smoke, before releasing the clean air back into your kitchen. This means your kitchen will always be nice and refreshed – whatever layout you have.
Low extraction rate
The amount of air that can be removed from your kitchen in an hour depends on how powerful the extraction rate of your cooker hood is. This model has a low extraction rate, which means it’s ideal for clearing steam, smoke and cooking smells from a small area.

First:The extractor came with no filters, had no idea that they are not included,it doesn't say nowhere,so cause I'm a fitter only I just fit it and left it like that,so its just not doing anything at the moment, useless
Second:one of the bulbs was broken, parts inside the hood were loose and that's what cause the damage, poor quality, poor protection, parts missing and other parts broken, just not worth it
Bought before from ao for the same price but different make and it was alright, with filters and all ok,this one is just not right, its been made in Poland, may be that's why, don't know but felt I need to write proper review because this product can effect mine and other fitters reputation

Quiet & efficient
Having owned a number of very noisy extractors over the years I didn't really believe the reviews saying how quiet the Indesit hood was, but thought I would give it a try. I'm pleased I did because it is very quiet compared with the others I've had even on the highest setting. I can now work in the kitchen without getting a headache. It is very efficient at extracting the cooking smells and is very easy to use. I would definitely recommend it. The build quality is reasonable and compares well with similar products, but don't expect a RR for the price of a mini.

This was to replace a 16yo MFI/Hygena/Schreiber hood, wherer the motor had failed and could not be replaced.
Dimensions were difficult to pre-determine, but an effective compromised was reached, but only after help from the manufacturer

Although I have given an overall rating of fair this product is fine at the price. If you want bells and whistles there are far more expensive options out there.
