With its curved glass roof, this stainless steel Beko built-in cooker hood is incredibly stylish and would suit any modern kitchen. As it is 60cms wide, it’s great for smaller hobs. It features 3 different fan speeds, so you can extract as little or as much air as needed. You won’t have to worry about greasy smells clinging to your clothes either, thanks to the 2 tough grease filters that are quick and simple to clean. There are also 2 halogen lights to help you see ingredients you’re finely chopping.
Cooker hoods are designed to remove steam and odours from your kitchen by pulling in air and cleaning it. The extraction rate determines how quickly this can be done. This model has three extraction speeds to choose from, so it’s great for clearing the air in your kitchen quickly. Select the lowest setting when you’re simmering or steaming food and the highest setting for frying and strong-smelling food.
Suitable for 60cm hobs
When you’re looking for a cooker hood to suit your kitchen space, you want to make sure that it’s the right size. This model would look fantastic above a 60cm wide hob and would be able to remove the amount of steam generated by a hob of this size – making it ideal for a standard-sized kitchen.
With a noise level of 60db, this cooker hood produces a medium-level sound. So whether you’re entertaining guests, watching the TV or listening to music, you won’t get too much of a distraction from the extraction fan.
Extraction and recirculation
When it comes to extracting air, you can choose to vent it externally or recycle air back into your kitchen. If you can connect a ventilation hose to an external wall, the cooker hood will draw air in and push it outside. If your kitchen layout doesn’t allow for this, charcoal filters will remove unwanted odours and smoke, before releasing the clean air back into your kitchen. This means your kitchen will always be nice and refreshed – whatever layout you have.
Medium extraction rate
The amount of air that can be removed from your kitchen in an hour depends on how powerful the extraction rate of your cooker hood is. This model has a medium extraction rate, which means it’s ideal for clearing steam, smoke and cooking smells from a standard-sized kitchen.
