Connection £ 9.99
We’ll get your new fridge freezer in place, level the feet and take away all the bulky packaging for you. Your new appliance will need to sit for a few hours before it’s plugged in. This is important as it ensures the gas coolant inside the fridge settles
Disposal £ 19.99
We’ll happily take away your old appliance for you and recycle it. All we ask is that it's disconnected, emptied, fully defrosted and free of any ice and water. The fee for this service relates to the cost of taking your old appliance away on our van rather than the recycling service.
The black finish and interior capacity of this product are both major pluses and these, along with the water dispenser, were my main reasons for purchasing this particular model. Measurements were accurate so fitted in to my limited-width space in my kitchen perfectly.
The fridge & freezer chilled down in no time at all and have had not problems with it staying constant over the month or so since I purchased it (the reason for getting rid of my previous one).
My only negative is the design of the interior space in the door; the water dispenser is in the centre (which isn't necessarily a problem, as my old one was too) but this means the space in the bottom tray either side is very limited - in fact, it's very narrow both in width & depth meaning that it can really only accommodate a 1ltr/2pt carton of milk comfortably, and can only take a 2ltr/4pt carton if squeezed in (which is nigh on impossible when it's full). So if you have a family and regularly buy this size of carton or the even bigger 6pt ones then you will struggle is the largest size will have to go on a shelf on it's side (and these are not exactly leak-proof in that position). It was even a struggle to get a standard 1ltr juice carton in the door tray due to it's rigid shape.
The water dispenser valve is in the door rather than on the container itself (my previous one was), meaning you cannot remove it unless it's completely empty and you can't fill it by taking it to the tap - you need to fill a jug and take it to the fridge but as there is a shelf immediately above the lid, it can be awkward to empty the jug into the water container.
Externally, the water dispenser has no drip tray as such so can sometimes drip down the door and on the floor.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet, Value for moneyCons: Poor door storage design
