Disposal £ 19.99

With an 8kg drum, this tumble dryer from Indesit is ideal for medium-sized households. Heat pump technology is the most efficient way of drying clothes. Hot air is constantly recycled so the dryer doesn’t lose heat or waste energy, so it’s more economical. There are 16 programmes to choose from, including the wool cycle which uses a gentle temperature and spin speed to take care of your delicate fabrics. And there’s a handy memory function that remembers your most used programmes, so it’s easier to do the laundry in the future.
The tumble dryer has a pump system which reuses the condensed warm water to save you money. It dries everything perfectly with a range of settings that covers all types of materials. The only down side is that it can be noisy on certain parts of the different programmes but that might be due to it being sat on a hard stone floor so I'm thinking of putting some insulation underneath to improve this! Great purchase at a really good price.

We went for this dryer to replace an ailing 27 year old Zanussi - what an expensive mistake! It can't cope with finishing drying washing that's been part dried on the line, it seems to default to high heat and cooks anything we put in it. Anything like a single or double sheet or duvet cover gets rolled into a rugby ball in minutes and just rolls around the drum. This means the outside is roasting and the inside still wet. We thought we had bought a machine with sensor drying, but this seems only to function on two of the 16 programmes. Otherwise, you need to stop it to check drying every few minutes. It's managed to fry amost everything we have put in it if left for the full time. The instruction manual seems not to have been written or proof checked by anyone with any sort of command of English . We had a visit from the Indesit service technician who assures us there are no faults and everything is working OK. All this worry and inconvenience can be yours for only just over £400!

I chose this machine for its A++ rating although it was expensive, it has a large number of programs and I have tried them all?? I find it over drys and everything comes out very creased, it replaced my 15 year old Creda, I could take work polo shirts out of this, fold and put away now they are a crumpled heap and need ironing so I can not recommend this machine
Pros: Looks goodCons: Complicated, Expensive

IDPE845A Tumble Dryer
Although it does take a lot longer to dry clothes than our old machine the advantages greatly outweigh the Cons.
Not having to have an open window to put the vent hose out is a great and if you divert the drain hose to the same waste pipe as used by the washing machine you don't even have to empty the draw.
The dryer uses less electricity than the old one so saving on your bill.
