Connection £ 9.99
We’ll get your new fridge freezer in place, level the feet and take away all the bulky packaging for you. Your new appliance will need to sit for a few hours before it’s plugged in. This is important as it ensures the gas coolant inside the fridge settles
Disposal £ 19.99
We’ll happily take away your old appliance for you and recycle it. All we ask is that it's disconnected, emptied, fully defrosted and free of any ice and water. The fee for this service relates to the cost of taking your old appliance away on our van rather than the recycling service.
310 litre capacity - holds 17 bags of food shopping
Defrosting is easy with minimal ice build ups
Annual energy cost - £33.26
Special mode rapidly chills food & drink in 30 minutes
Tested for the equivalent of 20 years' use
This stylish silver Miele 60/40 fridge freezer can hold 17 bags of food shopping thanks to its 310 litre capacity. The freezer’s LowFrost technology reduces ice build-up, so it only needs manually defrosting once a year. It also has an annual energy cost of just £33.26. If you enjoy getting together with friends and family, you’ll love the Party Mode – a special feature in both the fridge and freezer which rapidly cools and freezes new food and drink in just 30 minutes, ready for when your guests arrive. It has also been tested for the equivalent of 20 years’ use, so you can trust the build of this model.
A basic, large fridge with useless features - over priced
I've now used this fridge-freezer for a couple of weeks, and it's even more basic than I first assumed:
1. "party mode" does NOT chill beer and wine in the freezer in 30 minutes without risk of freezing. Party Mode which, according to the instruction manual, needs to be switched on 4 hours before you need it, simply makes both the fridge and freezer very very cold.
2. Super Freeze mode - Also needs to be switched on 4 hours before you even think of adding food to the freezer, and also simply makes both the fridge and freezer very very cold (with the risk of freezing not only everything in the freezer but also everything in the fridge too). This "feature" also makes the fridge-freezer extremey noisy.
Apart from the timer and the "sabbath" mode (which turns the lights off) this fridge-freezer has no more features than a simple fridge with a 1-5 dial does and is therefore poor value for money.
Pros: Ease to use, Good capacityCons: Expensive, Lack of features, Not frost free

This appliance arrived with the minimum amount of packaging but perfectly protected. It was a nice touch to see as we were expecting to throw away a lot of rubbish.
It has two wheels on the bottom at the back which really make it easy to slot into position. We then had to adjust one front foot to ensure the fridge freezer was standing straight.
The doors are reversible if need to change sides of opening.
The contemporary design of this model makes it the perfect fridge freezer for any kitchen, it is a soft silver grey and the handles are on the side of the doors leaving the front free of any handles.
The appliance is split into two with the fridge on the top and the freezer underneath
The fridge is a wonderful space for our family (222 L) and it is lovely to see that Miele have made the very most of that space so the internal area is as big as it can possibly be. This area has four easy to remove glass shelves with various settings along the side plus two vegetable trays that sit at the bottom. The shelves are easy to clean.
The door has three shelves, the bottom one having a rubber strip along the back to hold bottles firmly in place when opening the door and the other two adjustable shelves are open and perfectly shaped to take the maximum capacity of products.
On opening the door there is a light at the top which indicated how cold the fridge is, there are settings to check the freezer and to Quick freeze too.
Other settings include -
Party Setting - allowing you to cool drinks down quickly this setting takes 4 hours to reach its goal.
Minute minder - Can be set from 0 min 00 secs to 9 mins 59 secs useful for chilling items as you work through a recipe.
Safety lock - Locks the touch screen panel without changing the settings.
Sabbath mode - Turns the interior light off and all audible alarms (door alarm or minute minder) for 120hrs.
Door alarm setting - Changes the length of time before the door alarm sounds. You can select from level 1 to 7. Level 1 being 30 sec, 2 being 1min up to level 7.
There is also a LED light in the fridge which gets gradually brighter once the door has been opened.
The freezer compartment consists of three drawers and in total has 88L capacity. Each drawer is a great size and holds a lot of product if stacked properly.
The freezer can be set to Super Freeze by pressing the four star symbol on the bottom of the control panel to display a white snowflake. Press this and it lights orange to indicate it is on and repeat to turn it back to white to turn it off again. This boosts the freezer to lower the temperature quickly but it has to be manually turned off.
SUMMARY - Easy to unpack and set up, easy to clean, looks good and stylish. Excellent build and great use of space to make maximum storage. It is very quiet (40DB) Economical to run as A++ rated.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, QuietCons: Noisy, None

Love Miele KD28032EDO
The Miele KD28032EDO is a nice sleek looking fridge freezer with a generous 222L capacity in the fridge and an ample 88L in the three drawer freezer compartment. The 40DB noise level is nice and quiet. The door is reversible which allows it to fit into most kitchen designs.
On opening the fridge, the LED light gradually gets brighter which is a nice touch. On the inside of the door there are three adjustable door shelves and the usual bottom bottle shelf for larger bottles. All the shelves are open and square shaped so there are no curved edges or lids to get in the way. The shelves can be moved up and down to suit the size of item placed in there.
There are various settings on the appliance. Some of which I really don't see the point of and others are quite handy. I will take you through these :
1. Party setting – At first glance this looks great, brings down the temperature in the fridge to cool drinks quicker but without the risk of forgetting about them and having them freeze and possibly burst in the freezer (I’ve been there cleaning frozen beer out of a freezer and it’s not nice), only problem with this is it takes 4 hrs which in my opinion is long enough to get my drinks to a cold enough temperature. So, I can only really see this being any use if there are a LOT of drinks coming out and having to be replaced and chilled quickly.
2. Minute minder – This is a timer which can be set from 0min 00sec to 9min 59sec. Possibly handy for chilling dough. I can only see myself using this for placing items in the freezer for a quick chill before putting in the fridge.
3. Safety lock – Basically a lock for the touch screen control panel which when set will only let you turn the lock off again, hold for 6 seconds, but not change any settings. I can see this being useful so kids can’t change the settings or mess about with it, but since it’s at the highest point of the appliance I fail to see its real use.
4. Sabbath mode – This turns the interior light off and all audible alarms (door alarm or minute minder) for 120hrs when you select this setting. This isn’t something I would use but perhaps if you have any religious reasons for requiring silence then this may be of use to you.
5. Door alarm setting – This changes the length of time before the door alarm sounds from level 1 to 7. Level 1 being 30 sec, 2 being 1min up to level 7. A relatively handy setting as some people will want/need this to be different.
Moving on to the freezer, this has three removable drawers, a great idea as most freezers of this style the top compartment is a shelf with a flip down door that can easily be damaged. I would have hoped an appliance with so many features would be frost free but unfortunately this is not the case.
The only feature of the freezer that can be set is the super freeze and this is done by pressing the symbol with the four stars on the bottom of the control panel to display a white snowflake symbol, press this and it turns orange to indicate it’s on and doing the same again to turn it back to white to turn off again. This just gives the freezer a boost to lower the temperature quicker, but it does have to be turned on off manually. Possibly a timer or an auto off when reaching a set temp would make this setting more useful.
In summary, this is a very nice looking fridge freezer with a quality look and feel about it. I do feel that there are a few features that have limited use and one or two with next to none. That said I don’t feel that this takes away from the appeal of the appliance, as even if I don’t need them it’s no loss not to use them.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, QuietCons: Expensive, Useless Features

Overpriced and under featured but good capacity
This fridge-freezer has great capacity for its size, especially in the fridge, but lacks features for the price. There's no frost free function, no wine rack or egg rack. The advertised party mode doesn't chill beer in the freezer in 30 minutes without risk of freezing - it simply makes the fridge colder and, according to the instruction booklet, needs to be switched on 4 hours before use. There is a Sabbath mode, which supresses all sounds and turns off the lights, but this isn't a feature I need.
Bizarrely, the fridge came with 8 printed manuals in various european and scandanavian languages, but the english manual was a photocopied version. Not a very eco-friendly use of paper.
Seems to run ok, some temperature fluctuation according to a separate temperature gauge. Not particularly quiet, but not overly noisy either.
Too expensive for the lack of useful features.
Pros: Ease to use, Looks good, TFT displayCons: Expensive, Not frost free, Too many manuals, Useless features
