Overall, fantastic TV. I've been promising myself a Sony Bravia for long enough and I'm glad it's now mine. One thing I think it would be nice if it was included was a Pointer Device for when sing some smart features like the internet browser like some of the Samsungs come with.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet, Value for money

Quality 4k tv
I Purchased Sony KD-43X8305C TV on a special offer, and would like to share my experiences with would be buyers.
Firstly, the design is very good , almost consisting of having no bezel and the full screen is visible. The bezel is made of black aluminium therefore showing a premium appearance.
When comparing the picture quality I will compare this TVs picture to my previous TV a Sony ex524 which it replaces, and also a w705 and 48w605 which are currently in use
Picture has a lot more definition and clarity than my ex524 very vibrant but the colours look more realistic and definitely sharper. Standard definition upscaling is very good some TV broadcasts such a BBC1 almost looks HD. When comparing to the w705 and w605 there is not much difference in SD , but in HD there is lot more detail and noticeable clarity. This TV has the new X1 processor and it seems to improve on the previous x reality pro chip, that Sony has been using for the last 3 years. In terms of picture quality this TV sets the bar quite high.
This has more than enough connections and improves on previous televisions. There are 3x USB ports including a USB 3.o socket , my old TV had only one USB port, this has 3. One for HDD recording and 2 for general use with usb 3 providing faster data transfer. 4 HDMIi sockets with 1 supporting ARC and 1 MHL support. This has a twin free view tuner , and also has free sat tuner. Optical out also is included. Connections wise the Sony KD-43X8305C has plenty , and more than happy with the choice of sockets and USBs.
Smart features and android TV
When I first switched this on I had an update which lasted almost 45 minutes , this TV is like a mini computer and updates will be regular. I added my Google account and the TV was up and ready . All the familiar smart features like YouTube and Netflix work well no buffering . The remote has a dedicated Netflix button which I found very useful. Android works well no noticeable lag or reboots playstore offers loads of apps especially kodi. This is a new operating system and within time I can see a lot off our phones apps will be available on android TV. I’ve read the negative reviews about android TV , I personally had no issues and recently had the youview update installed . It seems when the TV was first released there were some minor software issues , but all these have now been resolved with firmware updates. I prefer the android TV system compared to the old Sony smart os its offers more flexibility and within time this will be supported by Google lot longer than current smart systems.
Those who like games can download and select games from playstore and you can connect a ps4 controller to play with them. One off the best features has to be the Google chromecast feature which is already built in the tv, therefore, no need to buy a chromecast usb stick. Basically you can wirelessly cast your phone or tablet screen onto the TV. It is like having a 43 inch tablet where you can cast all your apps from your phone and tablet onto to this tv. And finally ive successfully installed Kodi and i am now enjoying all the various multimedia streams available. Kodi operates super smooth and lag and better then some standalone boxes
If you buy this TV for picture quality alone this is worth 5 stars, the specification list including the connections available are astonishing , owning an android TV is a major bonus and in time this will develop into a fully featured operating system and is backed up by Google. The only negatives I can see is Sony not providing the smart NFC remote which is available as an option, although you can download Sony’s tv sideview app to your Smartphone which acts like the smart remote and has voice controls. I wrote this review to give some balance I have not had any problems, such as reboots or sluggish performance as reported by other reviewers. Most of the reviews were early adopters and the software is now fully up to date. I fully recommend this TV and you will not be disappointed.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Value for moneyCons: Expensive

so here goes i just brought this tv on finance having come from upgraded from panasonic veira 4k tv i can honestly say when i first got the sony tv i didnt think it was a good as picture but once i fiddled round with the picture settings it looks awesome my panasonic suffered motion blurring which was horrible and also you couldnt watch any 4k videos on it. been reading some reviews about the android being horrible to use and the remote not being responsive ive not experienced this problem yet the tvs faster then my panasonic tv and im fairly happy with it roll on 4k blurays
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet, Value for moneyCons: None

Excellent Sony Smart TV 4K
This Sony 4K Ultra HD TV has amazing picture quality.4 x HD quality. It's a pleasure to stay in and watch a movie. The sound is great too for 20watts,i do not feel the need for a soundbar.
The tv has a very slim surround, looks very nice without the bulky frame, with a lovely chrome stand.
The tv was very easy to set up.
Easy to use Netflix button, many apps ,like BBC Iplayer.
You can stream from any smartphone or Ipad onto the big screen.I downloaded an App called Imediashare and streamed my photos straight onto the big screen.
Very fast connections onto Netflix or straight to the bluray player.
I find this TV excellent value for money, superb quality picture, would recommend anyone to buy this TV.
Male, 25 to 34, Couple from Telford
This TV is literally awesome, 4k YouTube content you wouddnt even believe the depth and quality its crazy
Standard 526p viewing is quite bad tho as the TV has to guess the rest to upscale the image
Gaming on this TV is fine lag seems minimal enough to be competative still on call of duty, although there's some motion blur on Forza 5 but that's my fault for having all the image processing on
My major issue is the android TV its interface is really slow to respond you end up inputting your desired channel many times I want 28 it goes to channel 2 not the desired 28 and 3 digit channels of my days ball ache!
Blu ray 1080p 24hz looks awesome upscaling is mega impressive you have to play with a few settings for your desired picture quality like colour needs toning down slighlty and the back light only slighlty
Edge lighting isnt intrusive like many say ...adjust your contrast correctly and this won't be an issue ever!
This TV is awesome value and a wicked step into 4k and 4k is incredible ....unbelievable infact!
Male, 35 to 44, Small Family from Runcorn
Awesome having android as its Web link, can't go wrong with Sony. Sound is good and picture quality is amazing.
