Stand Installation, Disposal
Stand Installation £ 44.99
We want you to enjoy your new TV as soon as possible. Rather than messing about with cables and following loads of steps in the instruction manual, let us set it up for you. We'll attach the new TV to the stand that it comes with. If you've bought an additional TV stand, there's a separate installation charge. We'll also tune it in, set up any Smart features and connect up all your existing kit. We’ll even take away the bulky packaging.
Disposal £ 14.99
We’ll happily take away your old TV for you and recycle it. All we ask is that it’s unplugged and ready to go. The fee for this service relates to the cost of taking your old TV away on our van rather than the recycling service. If you've paid for installation, we will recycle your old TV free of charge.

HDR delivers lifelike colours to ramp up 4K viewing
Smart TV powered by Android for catch up, movies & more
Watch Freeview HD or catch up on shows with YouView HD
4 HDMI & 3 USB - plug in lots of devices at once
This 49” Sony LED TV is perfect for living rooms. You’ll always experience stunning picture quality with 4K Ultra HD resolution, and the upscaling feature boosts standard HD to near 4K too. HDR technology brings lifelike and vibrant colours to your screen, whatever you’re watching. Smart capabilities give you TV, movies and apps, and Android TV makes searching through them completely effortless. There’s plenty to watch with 60 channels from Freeview HD and catch-up programmes from YouView HD. There are 4 HDMI and 3 USB inputs to connect all of your devices.
To achieve the Certified Ultra HD 4K stamp of approval, a TV needs to have true 4K resolution that uses four times more pixels than Full HD, as well as vivid 8 bit colour depth. By choosing this model, you can rest assured that you’ll experience the very best that UHD 4K has to offer. As the number of channels broadcasting in 4K continues to grow, your TV will be ready – so you can enjoy new content the way it was meant to be seen. You’ll also benefit from 4K upscaling to make more of HD channels and your Blu-ray collection.
HDR takes 4K viewing to the next level, delivering incredibly vivid, life-like colours that’ll make sure you enjoy the ultimate home cinema experience. By ramping up the contrast, HDR provides brighter whites and darker blacks, so every frame is super-dynamic and detailed. This means a more realistic picture onscreen, so you’ll feel more immersed in what you’re watching.
Smart powered by Android
Easily access all of your catch up TV and movies with Android TV. This intelligent interface is built-in to your TV and lets you access endless content, launch apps and play videos at the touch of a button. Definitely a TV for the connoisseur
Can't complain about picture or build quality, you view works well and easy to set up, sky box easy to tune in, in minutes I had everything up and running, exept my Panasonic home cinema I can't get the sound to come through from the TV. I have thought about buying a Sony home cinema (not the cheapest). Would I purchase this if I knew the trouble I would have with the sound issue, not sure I would, think I would go for one of the cheaper makes out there.
Pros: Good build quality, Looks good, QuietCons: Complicated, Expensive

Brilliant Smart TV!
Having never owned a SmartTV before, I was excited to delve into this exciting world of advanced technology. Our previous TV wasn't ancient by any means, and it had served us well, but it just wasn't suitable for our needs any longer.
We were looking for something which was HD and would really bring all the movies we watch and games we play into a whole other dimension. This ticked all of the right boxes.
At 49" it 'commands' the room. The design is sleek and the body of the TV is quite thin so, despite having a quite large screen size, it doesn't leave a mega footprint in the corner of the room.
It's 4K and videos and photos look brilliant on it and the colour representation is fantastic. However, if you don't let the pre-set colours, you can also adjust the settings to suit your preference. The same goes with the audio too.
We did have a slightly problem with the audio just coming out in mono with one of our devices, and at first we were worried this was a TV flaw, but actually it was our device itself not recognising the stereo from the TV and we needed to change some settings on the device itself.
The Android system is very fast and doesn't seem to show any lag.
The remote control also has a Netflix button, for those moments when you want to 'Netflix and Chill' but don't want to be wasting precious moments trying to set it all up by going through the various menus.
It also has 4 HDMI ports which is perfect for all those devices that use HDMI nowadays.
The only downside we have found is that the stand has bent slightly under the TV's weight, but this is cosmetic more than anything. It doesn't affect the usability of the TV.
There's also a white light under the 'Sony' logo which I think is the remote sensor. This doesn't annoy me at all, but I know if might be annoying for some people.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this TV, especially as a first SmartTV as it ticks all of the right boxes and it's so easy to use.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, QuietCons: Bent Stand
Male, Over 65, Couple from Harrogate
Changing channels is so SLOW ABOUT 6 SECONDS.
The remote control is difficult to use, the buttons are very close to each other, you end up pressing 2 or the wrong button. After selecting a channel the information button is 4cm from OK button and you have to switch it off to proceed?
Manoeuvring around the menu's is pitiful it takes 10 button presses to get to settings menu. Many buttons are not very big?
It has many features NONE can be switched OFF if not used.
You get the impression that they are using and old operating system as every selection is SLOW.
For a TV it is very POOR, as a tablet maybe OK.
