Combination cooking from AEG. The KR8403021M_SS combination microwave from AEG allows you to rustle up the perfect meal whether its reheating, cooking, defrosting or grilling. The generous 46 litre capacity means you can prepare a meal for the whole family so it’s perfect for a larger household. There’s loads of pre-programmed recipes that will ensure you get perfect results every time, whether it’s a Sunday roast or dainty cupcakes! It’s really easy to operate with all the information you need at your fingertips on the large LCD display with touch control, showing the time, temperature and cooking mode. The interior enamel is really easy to wipe clean and the stainless steel exterior is anti-stain so it’ll stay looking new for longer.
Because there are no knobs this oven looks good and is easy to wipe over. But it is much more time- consuming to operate. The default microwave setting is 200 so it will almost always have to be changed. To grill and MW at the same time you have to programme each function seperately. To grill at 230 and simultaneously microwave at 300 for 10 minutes takes 33 pushes on the display, then another 10 pushes for each additional 5 minutes. On my old combi oven I just turned 3 knobs to the correct setting. This oven gives settings for chicory gratin and vegetable spätzle. Not sure I'll be cooking that too often! There is no start button, so you have to be quick, if you pause for a couple of seconds while changing the settings it will start before you are ready. The instruction book is not very helpful.
