7kg wash, 4kg dry - great for a medium family
Rated B for energy efficiency
A programme for all your clothes. The L61470WDBI built in washer dryer from AEG gives you amazing wash and dry results as well as blending in seamlessly with your kitchen. It can wash up to 7kg of clothes and dry 4kg and it’s got a super fast 140rpm spin speed that’ll get rid of most of the moisture in your clothes. There’s a programme to suit whatever you’re washing including a 30 minute quick wash and an easy iron setting that makes sure your clothes come out of the drum less creased. The handy refresh option is a short cycle that quickly revitalises and freshens worn clothes with a blast of steam cleaning, ideal if you don’t have the time to wash and dry. To make life easier, there’s a delay start option letting you wash or dry at a time most convenient to you, whether it's overnight or to finish when you get home from work.
For busy households that need a washer dryer that can keep up with their laundry routine, this model is a good choice. It has a medium sized 7kg wash load and a 4kg dry load - we believe the bigger the drum the better, not only because of the extra capacity, but also because your clothes have more room to tumble for a better clean.
30 minute quick wash
Get your washing back in a flash with AEG’s really handy Quick Wash programme. In as little as 30 minutes, you can wash a small load that can’t wait. This is perfect if you’re short on time and need to wash some uniforms and work clothes in a hurry.
Energy label B
Energy ratings for washer dryers range from A+++ to D. The higher the rating, the more efficient your appliance will be and the more money you’ll save. This model has been given a B for its energy usage, which means on average it will cost you £115 to run per year.
This model has AEG’s intuitive Fuzzy logic feature. Clever sensors inside this machine monitor your wash load to make adjustments to water, temperature, wash time, rinse performance and spin speed to ensure the very best washing results. It uses as little water and energy as possible – so it’s much more energy efficient and could help you save money on your utility bills too!
Very pleased with this product. This is my first AEG appliance and I am really happy with its performance so far. The controls are straightforward and easy to use. The spin is quite loud when it reaches 1400 but it doesn't last for very long so its not a major disappointment. I think all machines are loud when they spin. If you are looking for a mid range, reliable, integrated washer dryer then this is definitely worth considering.

Great product and good value
This AEG is fundamentally a great washer/dryer. It is supremely easy to use, has enough functions to handle all types of washing, is much quieter than previous generation machines (have had a Bosch and Neff before) and its wash performance is exemplary.
Drying, it can only handle a 4kg load, and if you have sheets and towels it's worth reducing the load slightly to ensure full dryness. It doesn't have an auto sensor, which is really the only lack in feature, but in practice this doesn't affect the performance.
One nice thing is the detergent drawer extends out quite a long way, so is easy to fill if the machine is installed under the kitchen worktop.

Great all round washer dryer
This is my third washer dryer (previous ones Hotpoint Zanussi and Candy) and this is the best one I've had as I like the reduced washing time feature and the drying quality. Although expensive it is so far faultless.
Pros: Ease to use, Good build quality, Looks good, QuietCons: Expensive

AEG Lavamat L61470WDBI
not impressed I'm afraid. great features and washes 3 shirts in 30 minutes. however firstly i don't think the dial going the last the year. there is already a lot of play so the settings indicator can show in the middle of 2 programmes. you have to wiggle it to make sure your on the setting you want. the beeper goes on and on even when you open the door. you have to switch the machine off. it is louder than the replaced machine. A 10 year old Bosch, far quieter. you cannot leave it on overnight because of the noise so at least the delayed start is handy. the feet screws look like cheap metal and they will not stay locked, i have had to take the kick board off again to tighten them.
